Clippers’ Paul George makes a solid comeback in his game

‘Playoff P’ is back! That’s how we’ll welcome Paul George’s staggering comeback performance this postseason. After a stagnant run in the Playoffs, Paul is back, stronger than ever. He knocked 35 points in just 25 minutes of the game, shooting 12-of-18 from the field and 4-of-8 from the deep.

Well, Clippers just created their best game of the series with a 154-111 win over Dallas. However, Paul was out there in a ruthless momentum. He has become the first player to score 35+ points in 25 minutes or fewer in NBA playoff history since 1975. Is that even real?

He has returned to his playoff zone relentlessly. If Paul goes on with that insanity on the court, it will be difficult for the Mavericks to fill in the series gap.

Kawhi Leonard accompanied his experienced mate with 32 points in the game. Moreover, Montrezl Harrell gathered himself and made a comeback from his long-lost form. He recorded 19 points and 11 rebounds. It was a complete team effort from the Clippers’ end. After 76-52 lead at halftime, Clippers became unstoppable from thereon.

The Mavericks were struggling to close in the score gap, but they were nowhere close to doing it. Their star player, Luka Doncic, scored team highest 22-point, eight-rebound, and four assists. But he was shooting a mere 6/17 from the field and ran out of gas with his sprained left ankle. It isn’t a good sight for Dallas after a last-second win in the previous game.

After taking on a one-game lead in this playoff series, Clippers has set their foot at the front end. Mavericks will have to pick up their game to beat such a talented pack of players. Will the Mavs even the series again in Game 6?
