On this very day, 13th April in 2016, when Kobe Bryant declared “Mamba Out”, many hearts broke in the Staples Center. It was the last time the legend ever played an NBA match. We all would like to reminisce it as the ‘Mamba Day’. The same Staples Center had to witness Kobe’s funeral at the beginning of the year. ‘Mamba Day’ was definitely quite tough for Vanessa Bryant, Kobe’s wife. She posted an extremely heart-melting message on Instagram that caught everybody’s attention.

Today, on the same day, four years later, Kobe fans remember his last match against Utah Jazz. Kobe led the Lakers to a thrilling win of 101-96 with a stunning performance. There wasn’t any moment in the game that will say, “He’s retiring today!”. Mamba scored a high ranking 60 points in the match and 23 points were scored right in the last quarter. The clutch shots on point, the footwork was fabulous, and nothing worth making him retire. He was simply tremendous in his last game as well.

While fans from all over the world remembered Kobe’s big day, Vanessa Bryant posted an emotional message on Instagram. She even put up a video of Kobe’s career-high moments in the game and his last day on the court.

The message read,” Life truly isn’t fair. This is just senseless.” Vanessa poured her heart out, “My husband worked his ass off for 20 years. Gave it his all. All he wanted was to spend time with our girls and me to make up for (the) lost time.” She even listed out some of Kobe’s achievements like Kobe’s Oscar, Granity Studios, etc. She added and wrote, “She (Gigi) worked hard and gave her all 7 days a week just like her daddy. I wish I could (go) back to that morning, every day. I wish they had a normal local game on 1/26″
