Nike’s major deal with Jordan back in 1984 was one of the best decisions he ever made. 5. Air Jordan 2 OG ($31,000)

The brand says it’s made with “faux lizard skin, sleek lines, and no swoosh”. Well, clearly it was a sophisticated styling by the artists. Though quite simple in its ways, it still went on to be sold for a massive $31,000 on eBay. Moreover, it looks modest to the eyes and wasn’t amongst the fan favorites still makes it to the list of most expensive Jordans.

4. Air Jordan Silver Shoe – Autographed ($60,000)

These shiny knicks are actually made of solid silver. Thus, the name adheres to it. It was sold on eBay by a seller named ‘eaglesbyfly’. The original version was a gift to Jordan from his wife on his 32nd birthday. It was handcrafted with sterling silver but the later versions of it obviously made changes to it. In the initial time of its release, only 10 shoes of this kind were introduced because of its uniqueness.

 

3. Air Jordan 10 OVO – Drake Collection ($100,000)

In a collaboration with Drake’s brand, ‘October’s Very Own’, Air Jordan 10 OVO was created as a limited edition shoe. This collection had was released in white as well, but the blacks took the show. It consists of all-Black stingray leather. And also, the metallic Gold accents with Drake’s signature OVO emblem on the insole completes the look.

2. Air Jordan 12 – Flu Game ($104,000)

Who doesn’t remember Jordan’s iconic ‘Flu Game’! Michael was completely down with flu symptoms but definitely he was not quitting Game 5 of the 1997 NBA finals. “I almost played myself into passing out,” were his words after the match. Despite not being well, he went on to score staggering 38 points to win his fifth title.

Jordan gave his knicks to Delta Center ballboy Preston Truman post the match. Preston further auctioned the shoes on eBay with a starting price of $5000.15. Michael’s ‘flu-game’ knicks were sold for a gigantic $104,765. The buyer had a part of Michael Jordan’s fondest days with him for all the money he spent.

Yes, the ‘gold’ in the name is not fake. It’s a solid-gold sneaker made of 24 karat gold, designed by an American artist, Matthew Senna. It was exclusively made for the famous rapper Drake in 2016 and ever since has become the most expensive sneakers for $2 million. But, can you guess how much these weigh? It has 100 pounds of gold!
