Looks like the Ball family wants to make their mark in the NBA. With the offseason, LaMelo Ball is considered the top prospect in the 2020 NBA Draft, just like his brother, Lonzo Ball in 2017. As LaMelo is en route to his transition into the NBA, many teams have shown keen interest in the young star, and the Chicago Bulls have added themselves to that list.
The Bulls have a lot of decision making to do this offseason. Failing to make it to the playoffs for the last three years, they need to make several important roster upgrades to help them remain relevant in the Eastern Conference.
As one of the most popular franchises in the league, the Bulls have overhauled their front office and coaching staff to improve their chances in the upcoming season. They also have the No. 4 pick in the Draft. Therefore, it looks like they are going to do everything in their power to bring in LaMelo Ball.

Many believe that they are also willing to sacrifice key pieces like Wendell Carter Jr, and Lauri Markkanen.
Can LaMelo Ball be the face of the Chicago Bulls’ franchise?
The Bulls haven’t won an NBA Championship since the 90s. If they want to increase their chances for the title, they need all the help available. They have been lacking a stable, consistent, and game-changing superstar for themselves. Lauri Markkanen and Zach LaVine have given the Bulls a ray of hope, but they still require a starting guard to lead them.

Playing just 12 games in the NBL, LaMelo averaged 17 points, 7.6 rebounds, and 6.8 assists per game. Also, declared as the MVP looks like he might be the man that brings back the Bull into contention.

“They do have some really good pieces in place. I’m hearing that they like Lauri Markkanen a lot more right now than Wendell Carter Jr. That he’s more of an untouchable.”
