The future of James Harden with the Rockets looks pretty bleak. The 31-year-old has expressed his desire to leave the team as soon as possible. Moreover, he has skipped training with the team on numerous occasions.

Furthermore, it was recently revealed that Harden has added two more teams in his preferred destinations – the Milwaukee Bucks and Miami Heat. The Bucks need to prepare a package around Khris Middleton for any talks to begin.

The Heat, on the other hand, have plenty of options to build a suitable trade package.

Miami has always preferred a team-driven style of basketball over a single player leading the charge. Furthermore, just in their first season under the leadership of Jimmy Butler, the team made it all the way to the NBA Finals.

Breaking that tight-knit group could have a catastrophic impact on the franchise. Also, the Heat pride themselves on working hard and achieving results, which unfortunately is not something they might get out of Harden.

Bam has recently signed a massive extension with the team so it is clear that they have faith in him. Moreover, trading him for Harden won’t make any sense as it will leave a void at their center position.

Keeping that in mind, a trade package of Tyler Herro, Kelly Olynyk, Andre Iguodala, Kendrick Nunn along with a 2023 1st round protected pick might get the deal done. They can also replace the 2023 pick with a 2025 first-round pick.

This trade might actually go down, but there is one issue. According to a report by HeatNation, the franchise is unwilling to let go of Tyler Herro as of now.
