It’s extremely shocking to know the salary difference between the best NBA players at that time. It’s a fact that many knew about and ‘The Last Dance’ made sure the rest were also aware of it. Pippen had signed a 7-year contract with Chicago Bulls in 1991 for a modest $18 million.
The owner of the team at that time, Jerry Reinsdorf, called it a ‘mistake’ by Pippen. He admitted in ‘The Last Dance’, “If I were you, I wouldn’t sign this contract. You may be selling yourself too short. It’s too long a contract you’re locking yourself in for.” The duo gave sensational performances for the audience to cherish. They won six championships together as part of Chicago Bulls and reached the pedestal of excellence.

Scottie Pippen’s total career earnings are at a high $109,192,430 that significantly crosses Michael Jordan’s $90,235,000. It might be just those 2 years when the Bulls were enjoying their place at the top in the 90s that Pippen really had less in his hands. But the years that followed, after the Bulls contract ended, Scottie Pippen earned more than the entire salary earnings of MJ.
It’s clear how MJ’s net worth crosses billions!
