Recent happenings have created serious havoc in the entire country. An African-American, Late Mr. George Floyd was a victim of an alleged homicide a few days ago. The citizens are putting forth their stand on the issue more often than before. NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal’s son, Shareef O’Neal also has something to say about racial injustice.

There have been widespread protests after the death of George Floyd. NBA players have also taken up the issue and devoted their stance on it.

Shaq’s Son is a 20-year-old young sophomore. He is in his college career, currently playing for  LSU Tigers of the Southeastern Conference. Being a son of a Hall of Famer, the NBA fans are waiting for him to step into the league soon.

Some time back, Shareef posted a message on his official Instagram account regarding his say on George Floyd incident. He seems furious with the entire scenario and isn’t going to refrain from speaking up. Shareef has signed his statement below on the message as well.

Son of NBA star Shaquille O’Neal is determined on his stance

“I’m not with the violence and I want it to stop just like everybody else. I really want to see the violence against black men and women at the hands of the police to stop as well. Black people around the world have the right to feel safe in this country. This is crazy.” His message read.

The caption on his post says, “I know I won’t stop”.

Shareef was determined on the present generation taking a step forward. He is encouraging the younger crowd to change their ways. “People my age listen, we need to participate in the political processes and contribute to practical solutions that advance development. And don’t let nothing stop you until it’s done.”

Shaquille O’Neal is a former Lakers legend in the NBA. He is a four championship winner and earned the NBA finals MVP thrice. Alongside Kobe Bryant, he has achieved immensely throughout his career. Moreover, his son is also making it in the same profession. Hopefully, we can see him grab some feats in the league in the coming years.
