It seems clearer that ever that the NBA regular-season will resume on December 22, 2020. This leaves players with a 47-day window to prep up for a highly competitive next season. But more than anyone, Klay Thompson of the Golden State Warriors seemed excited by the news.
Klay tore his left ACL after landing wrongly during the NBA Finals 2019. It took him a mind-boggling 470 days to finally return to practice in September 2020. The doctors cleared him for training and since that day, this half of the Splash Brothers has been unstoppably working on his fitness.

Klay Thompson does not have many noteworthy flaws in his game. In fact, he is one of the toughest players to guard out there. In Game 6 against the Raptors, he had already scored 30 points before getting hurt. One can arguably wonder that if not for those series of unfortunate injuries for the Warriors, their era might’ve continued until today.

The unit will surely not have Kevin Durant by their side, but they’ll now have a very strong rookie (given they do not trade it) to help their bench.

In the video, Warriors’ assistant coach Bruce Fraser happily expressed, “It’s been really good to see Klay out there. He’s still recovering from his injury and just to see him moving the way Klay can and shooting the way Klay can. Knowing Klay, he brings an element of ‘Klay’ to our practice, meaning he’s different in a funny way.”
