WATCH: Lakers’ LeBron James Shows Off Dance Moves to Distract Anthony Davis

Lakers have destroyed Trail Blazers in Game 5 of the Playoffs to clinch a spot in Western Conference semifinals. LeBron James and Anthony Davis added another star performance as the leading duo in the league. The two contributed a combined 79 points to the 131-122 win.

LeBron’s army took the series to victory 4-1, and they are set for the second round Playoffs. The star duo is taking their game a notch higher each time they perform on the court. Davis was shooting 14/18 from the field, getting most of his buckets right in a game-high 43 points. Combined, the duo knocked 28 of 37 shots to turn this game on their side.

Blazers missed their star player, Damian Lillard, who unfortunately suffered a knee injury in Game 4. He’s out of the Bubble now, undergoing further examinations and X-rays. His absence has surely snatched an opportunity from the well-fought team.

CJ McCollum led his team with 36 points, same as LeBron, but couldn’t earn the Blazers another game in the series. This game saw the vintage version of Carmelo Anthony back on the stage. The experienced star dropped 27 points and 7 rebounds in the last game before his free agency period.

Well, Blazers did hand a tough time to Lakers in the last quarter by making the score even. But LeBron and AD would not give this game away that easily.

Exemplary show from Lakers star duo breaks records

Lakers duo became the first since the ABA-NBA merger to score 35+ points on 70+ percent, shooting each in the same playoff game. LeBron posted a triple-double (36 points, 10 rebounds, 10 assists) to add to his playoff magnificence.

Lakers have advanced to the next level in Playoffs 2020 and the duo is enjoying their time after such a brilliant win. In Davis’ post-match interview, LeBron dropped some cool dance moves, distracting AD.

Other than how the big shots got going for the Lakers, bench strength and effective defense added up to the victory. Alex Caruso grabbed the viewer’s attention at certain instances in the game.

The one where Caruso blocked Jusuf Nurkic from the back was stunning defense from the youngster. He got the ball moving and several mid-court steals from Caruso made it exciting for the Lakers.

We are yet to see who the Lakers will take on in the Conference semifinals. Will it be Houston Rockets or Oklahoma City Thunder?
