In the world of the WNBA, two of the top teams in the league are clashing against each other in a highly-anticipated best-of-five series. So far, three out of five matches have been played and it has been a rollercoaster ride for the fans and the basketball enthusiasts worldwide.

During the third match of the series, Sabrina Ionescu channeled her inner Stephen Curry. And that not only had the fans on their toes but also left a Hollywood celebrity in awe.

Game 3 of the WNBA championship Finals on Sunday kept the fans on their toes the whole time. During the game, Ionescu channeled her inner Stephen Curry and made a shot that had the fans on their feet. 

In the first quarter of the third game between the Las Vegas Aces and the New York Liberty, with just 1 minute and 57 seconds remaining on the clock, Sabrina Ionescu received a pass from her teammate Breanna Stewart. And without any hesitation, she launched a deep three-pointer. And leaving no room for doubt, she made it. The commentator, perfectly capturing the moment, said, “Ionescu, you bet.” 

This moment sent shockwaves through the crowd. Hollywood millionaire Jason Sudeikis, who was also present courtside, couldn’t contain his excitement. He jumped on his feet, joining the fans roaring in celebration.

Notably, the New York Liberty secured their first victory in the championship Finals.

The New York Liberty made a comeback

The Las Vegas Aces and the New York Liberty have faced off against each other in the Finals in three matches so far. The Aces have already secured two of them with a final score of 99-82 and 104-76, and if the Aces had won the third match too, they would have sealed the championship. But, the Liberty is not a weak team. Making a comeback in the third match, they secured their first victory of this series with a final score of 87-73.

However, they are still one victory behind the Aces and if the Aces win the next match of the series, they will win the championship and solidify their dynasty.
