Before joining the LSU, Last-Tear Poa played for the Northwest Florida State College, where she led the Raiders towards the NJCAA National Championship as a freshman. Because of her contributions, she was awarded the title of NJCAA Tournament MVP by averaging 23 points per game. To elevate her game to the next level in her sophomore year she decided to join the Tigers, and her performance throughout the year was just exceptional.

While she only averaged 3.4 points, 1.2 rebounds, and 1.2 assists per game, there was a reason why she played in all 36 games of the LSU Tigers. With her impressive court vision and talent, she led the Tigers shooting 87.9 percent from the free throw line and making eight three-pointers, out of which two were the most crucial which she bagged during the national Championship game, helping the Tigers to get a lead over the Hawkeyes. During the game, she also drew several offensive fouls out of which two were on Clark which forced coach Lisa Bluder to bench Clark because of foul trouble. And she ultimately helped the Tiger win the championship.

Now, as Last-Tear Poa plays as the junior guard in the ongoing 2023-24 NCAA season, she is currently averaging 5.2 points, 2.2 rebounds, and 3.7 assists per game. As the season continues, one question remains – can Poa help her team secure another championship?
