It’s college football. Here dynamics change in the blink of an eye. And among all, it’s Travis Hunter who is the most cheerful soul. So no matter how serious tussle he gets into with someone, it’s hard to be on ugly terms with Colorado Buffaloes dual-threat. Hunter has been spotted in a different jersey other than the Black and Gold for a change. Looks like it is a throwback video from his high school.

Sadly, the fans are not quite interested in the Buffs’ two-way star’s jersey swap. They are more interested in the unpaid actor in the background. And fans are already going gaga about the surprise guest—Cam Newton

Travis Hunter’s old video goes viral for a special reason

Well, things have not been going great for the Buffs’ two-way star, once hailed as the No.1 contender in the Heisman race. But poor Hunter! He is now at No.3, followed by Boise State running back Ashton Jeanty and Oregon Ducks quarterback Dillon Gabriel. However, fans are hardly bothered about the position swaps. More than that, right now, they are obsessing over an old video from Hunter’s high school. Interestingly, for a change, the comment section has not been about Hunter. The legend in the background is the former Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton.

Isn’t that surprising? Even though this appears to be an old video, down the line things have changed in the Hunter-Newton dynamics. Right before Colorado’s 48-21 win over UCF, the Buffs dual-threat had an encounter with the NFL MVP. But something seemed amiss when Newton approached Hunter, who brushed off the veteran QB while seemingly staying more focused on his pre-game routine. After the game, however, things turned positive as Hunter finally had a chance to ‘chop it up’ with Newton. Unfortunately, in what should have been the Buffs’ dual-threat’s highlight reel, Newton got all the attention.

Fan frenzy over Cam Newton’s cameo stealing Travis Hunter’s spotlight

Now that the Buffs are going to face off against Arizona on Saturday, October 19, Deion Sanders’ army is already in a sticky spot. Three wide receivers including Hunter along with LaJohntay Wester and Omarion Miller are struggling with their injuries. But more than the injury updates, the fans are hyped up about Newton’s entry behind Hunter’s star performance. One fan even jokingly wrote, “Cam Newton be everywhere bruh lol.” Well, now that it’s evident that ever since the Buffs two-way star’s high school, he shares a deep bond with Newton, an IG user joined the dots: “Cam Newton in the background, it all makes sense lol.”

All of a sudden, this old clip reminded another fan how the NFL legend organizes 7-on-7, “I forgot he played in cam’s 7v7 lol.” Even though Newton has not been in the forefront, his sudden appearance amazed a fan, “Low key lit how Cam just appeared in frame after the celly……” “Cam was hating watch it again lol,” the NFL MVP’s straight face reaction was enough for another fan to jump to a conclusion about him not liking Hunter.

While Cam Newton had been no team owner but just an organizer, his serious reaction showed his displeasure with Travis Hunter, “Cam in the back lookin like his team losing.” All thanks to House of Highlights for sharing the old clip. At least the Buffs fans could share a laugh amidst the challenging times ahead.
