It requires a strong heart to rain on fans’ efforts. And does 5-star defensive lineman Jahkeem Stewart have that? Well, we are yet to figure that out. At the moment he is just soaking in all the love and attention he is receiving from multiple sources that has turned him into an attention magnet. Already Oregon Ducks’ HC Dan Lanning has created a soft corner in Stewart’s heart. But so what? That did not stop the Tigers from pursuing their “Thanos.” And here in Louisiana, besides HC Brian Kelly, the fan base came up with a sweet gesture to woo their favorite Stewart.
You must have played tug of war back in school; that’s what programs are playing with Stewart. His visits started with the LSU Tigers on November 9, while the USC Trojans will be hosting him on November 16, Oregon on November 23, and finally Ohio State Buckeyes on November 30. But looks like Stewart has already grown dearer to the Ducks HC Lanning since the 5-star recently confessed, “Coach Dan is a great head coach…He showed me how he would utilize me and utilize my skill when I was on the official visit.” This was enough for the Tigers to buckle up. Maybe they somehow got inspired by how Deion Sanders and Colorado Buffaloes often go grand with their gestures for 5-star QB Julian Lewis. It was LSU’s turn to show Stewart how strong is their fanbase.

As seen in LSU staff writer Preston Guy’s post, the 5-star DL is spotted posing at Baton Rouge, where a sea of Tigers fans are in the background. Within the packed house, something would definitely catch your attention. On the front row, seven fans had turned their back towards the camera and each one had a letter of the DL’s name written on the back of their jerseys “J”-“A”-“H”-“K”-“E”-“E”-“M.” If you would have been in Stewart’s place, this gesture would have definitely left you to go “Awww,” right? Somehow the fans got some hope that made them come so far. But what is it?

Analyst favor LSU as Jahkeem Stewart’s likely choice
Last season, at only 16 years old, Stewart finished his sophomore season with 85 tackles, 33 tackles for loss, and 20 sacks. So, you can fathom how much hard work and planning went into producing such an amazing performance. Hence, the 5-star DL would in no way want his stats to go to waste. So what’s the very first step to having a grand journey ahead in his college career? Have the best of coaches. In that case, the Ducks already got Stewart into their confidence. But here comes the catch!
No matter how much the Oregon coaches, HC Lanning and coach Tosh Lupoi, have cast their charm on him, things might very well turn in Kelly’s favor. Wondering how? Going by analyst Steve Wiltfong’s predictions, LSU stands at a 94.6 percent chance to land Stewart. It’s again a matter of heartstrings, folks!

After all, Brian Kelly and his Tigers hold a USP. As the analyst stated, “He’s from the state of Louisiana. He’ll be ranked the number two player in that state for this class.” Roots in Louisiana, grand welcome by the fans, well, it’s going to be a tough call for Jahkeem Stewart, to go or not to go to LSU!
