So, this time marks a time of big transition. After all, the college football world will be bidding farewell to its stars like Shedeur Sanders, Travis Hunter, and Cam Ward. This makes space for the next-gen. Already high school recruits are reigning in the headlines. Not just one, these young chaps have now become an attention magnet where dozens and dozens of programs want to land them. One such player is the 2026 safety, 5-star Bralan Womack. Among this crowd of suitors, someone seems to have wooed Womack. It’s none other than Ole Miss Rebels HC Lane Kiffin

Hartfield Academy (Mississippi) five-star safety Bralan Womack has lived up to the hype all throughout last season’s fall. Why wouldn’t he? His numbers do all the talking. Standing at 5’11” and weighing 185 pounds, Womack totaled 39 tackles and 8 INT on defense while catching 54 passes for 1,045 yards and 13 TD on offense. With this, he was rated the nation’s No.1 safety in the class of 2026. Yes, so the spotlight falling on him was expected. However, the recent data shows the craze surrounding Womack.

On January 27, Hayes Fawcett made an IG post. The caption did not reveal the number of offers to keep the suspense intact. It only read, “Offers on the Table Thus far for Elite 2026 Safety Bralan Womack.” The poster had Womack’s picture on it surrounded by his suitors’ logos. Now you are surely going to get tired of counting the numbers. The count says 31! Yes, you read that right THIRTY ONE!

The list of admirers includes Alabama Crimson Tide, Ohio State Buckeyes, Notre Dame Fighting Irish, and LSU Tigers, and it thereby continued. Now, before you start feeling dizzy looking at the numbers, Womack has made it easier for you. He narrowed his college football choice to 10 schools and then to 4.

In the first list, it included Notre Dame, Texas A&M, Tennessee, Texas, Alabama, Ohio State, Nebraska, Louisville, and LSU. However, the next list had Ohio State, Tennessee, Alabama, and Texas A&M. But looks like these lists are not in sync with Womack’s latest updates. Thanks to the Rebels HC Lane Kiffin.

Does Lane Kiffin stand a chance of landing Bralan Womack?

In neither of the lists did Womack take Ole Miss’ name as his next stop. But it looks like the player is inclined towards Kiffin’s program. The HC, accompanied by defensive coordinator Pete Golding and recruiting assistant Kelvin Bolden, paid a visit to the defensive back’s school in Brandon on January 23, Thursday. Looks like something is cooking up between the No.2 safety and the program.

And guess what? Womack is not keeping it under covers. Instead, he shared a picture of him posing with Golding, Bolden, and Kiffin. The caption read, “Always great to catch up with my home state school! 🦈The Sip!!!” However, the competition to land Hartfield Academy defensive back, who has been named the Gatorade Mississippi Football Player of the Year for the 2024-25 season, is going to be tough.

Meanwhile, Kalen DeBoer and Alabama too stand a chance. After all, Kiffin is not the only one who has gone to Mississippi’s door to meet Womack. He also shared a note of gratitude, posing a picture with Auburn HC Hugh Freeze.

The caption read, “Thank you Auburn for a great weekend!” Well, Lane Kiffin’s Ole Miss might have had an advantage. However, there too Auburn seems to rain on their plans. What’s the factor? Not many know that Bralan Womack’s sister, Ma’Nia Womack, once used to play for the Ole Miss softball team. However, she transferred to Auburn last year. So, in case the defensive back chooses for a family reunion, Lane Kiffin will be out of the race.
