Now that Deion’s daughter’s fiance, Jacquees is a rapper himself, the loss further resonates with her. Meanwhile, even though Deiondra is so packed up with her responsibilities and the physiological changes as a new mom, it does not stop her from keeping track of what is happening around her.

Deiondra’s emotional response to BeatKing’s untimely death

The man behind the banger ‘Then Leave’ who created a storm across social media in 2020, passed away. On Thursday afternoon, his manager confirmed the tragic loss on Instagram as he wrote, “Today, August 15, 2024 we have lost @Clubgodzilla.” Deiondra like a bunch of others has been a die-hard fan of BeatKings’s infectious beats paired with his innovative marketing strategies that catapulted him to stardom. The tragic loss left Deion’s daughter reeling with pain as she re-shared the post with a praying hands emoji.

The part of the post read, “The cause of his untimely death is not public at this time, but we’ll keep you updated as details become available. Please keep his family and loved ones in your prayers during this difficult time.” The rapping legend is survived by his wife and two daughters. Why wouldn’t Deiondra be not moved by the loss? After all, BeatKing was a transformative figure in Southern rap. This news comes at a time when she herself is juggling freshly minted mom duties.

The highs and lows of Deiondra’s postpartum

Jacquees and Deiondra’s life has changed for the good now that they have welcomed their Baby Que on August 9. Deion’s daughter is handling her baby son while fighting with her postpartum complications. It is a bitter-sweet journey after all. On IG, Deiondra came up with back-to-back updates on her health. In one of the stories she posted a picture of her swollen ankle and wrote “Y’all wasn’t lying when y’all said after the baby.”

However, she is definitely on cloud nine after successfully delivering a healthy baby weighing 6 lbs and 13 ounces and 18 inches long after 9 months of difficult pregnancy. She had undergone four myomectomy surgeries to keep the baby safe since she had carried multiple fibroids. Deiondra wrote on behalf of herself and Jacquees, “WE MADE IT YALL…”

While it’s a time of celebration for Deiondra and Jacquees, it’s indeed heartbreaking news for the R&B King to lose one gem of a person who shared the same interests. While he is yet to pour his thoughts, the vacuum left by BeatKing’s demise is unfathomable.
