Deion Sanders never fails to amuse either his fans or his family members. On August 16, Deion Sanders Jr. picked up his camera to shoot a behind-the-scenes glimpse into the Buffs dressing room. The Well Off Media tycoon had a heart-to-heart conversation with the Buffs hairdresser. And guess what was the topic of discussion? Coach Prime’s injury and how a staff member had once accidentally stepped on his foot after his surgery. While Bucky could not control his laugh, he unveiled a unique trait of Deion’s character and tagged his father “childish.” Before Deion Jr., Shilo rubbed salt on the Buffs HC’s misery when he tried to teach them an important lesson.

Right before the 2024 season kicks in, Deion Jr. thought to light up the mood of the Buffs fans. Picking up his camera, he headed straight away to the grooming room. The CU hairdresser was in action, trimming one of the player’s hair. Bucky stepped in to dig into an old yet funny topic: an incident between the staff and Deion. And here the Buffs HC’s first-born dropped a hilarious anecdote, “First cut after surgery right after bro you stepped on his foot.” In a remorseful tone, the staffer added, “It was still raw, fresh.”

Even though it was a mistake on the CU staffer’s end, Bucky got a cold sweat just thinking about the situation. While expressing himself, he questioned how his father, Deion, plays host to two unique personas. Deion Jr. stated, “That would scare the hell out of me I ain’t going to lie to you cause he’s already a iffy type of person. Funny cause he’s real serious, then he’s real childish at the same time. So it’s like you just got to see what’s his mood today.”

Deion’s toes had given him a tough time — so much so that he had to undergo not one, not two, but TWELVE surgeries to fix the pain. Finally, in 2021, he got his toes removed. But until today, he has to go through foot-care sessions. During one such session, Shilo barged in with a funny take.

Deion’s philosophical class turns awry

Back in June this year, Deion was busy taking care of his amputated toes. Then, a group of players came into the Buffs HC’s van, talking about the commercial they would be part of along with Coach Prime. During the conversation, he decided to give his players some philosophical lessons. And what better way to draw allusion other than his amputated toes? Deion started with, “This is no joke. Sometimes it hurt where the toes are supposed to be..how does that hurt where the toes are supposed to be?”

He added a personal touch, urging players not to let go of themselves no matter how challenging the situation gets, “You know that makes me know that that we care about things in life that are no longer with us but it’s with us.”

Perhaps Shilo can’t stand seeing his dad with a frown. Hence, he unleashed his playful side. The Buffs safety comes up with a mischievous act, imitating as if he is sprinkling salt on Deion’s wounds. No wonder his act left the room to break into a chuckle.
