Deion Sanders Jr. blows the lid off Travis Hunter’s life-living mantra. All Bucky does is dismiss the assumptions the public has about the two-way star. Ranked as the No.4 student-athlete with a $2.7 million, CFB fans are under the assumption that Hunter always runs after the dollar bills.

But that’s surely not the case. Instead, Jr. points out how the dual-threat’s life revolves around his hobbies and his fiancé. Hunter’s won over the Buffs so well that he now steps into Deion’s big ol’ boots.

Deion Sanders Jr. discloses Travis Hunter’s unexpected down-to-earth side

Who else to dial up for the inside scoop on player personalities, if not Bucky? The Colorado alum, Matt McChesney knew the assignment. On August 24, for his Zero 2 Sixty with Matt McChesney podcast, he invited the Well Off Media tycoon. The conversation had to roll to Hunter who is an absolute phenom and the Buffs have pinned high hopes around him for the 2024 season. However, his top-notch athletic skills are no secrets. Hence, Jr. got the duty to highlight the two-way star’s off-the-field antics. He started up with how Hunter stands out of the crowd, “He’s a different type of kid like anybody any other person in his position would just be on a different level like just turned up out here going to club.”

Since the dual threat has been raging the NIL world, it’s natural for the CFB fans to assume that he is on the hunt for riches. And here Jr. lets the truth open about Hunter, “All he cares about is his fiancé, video games, and fishing he’s like a really really good kid he doesn’t care about money.” With this, he has earned huge respect from his teammates and Shilo is now taking a crash course from him ahead of the season.

Shilo Sanders gets a masterclass from Travis Hunter

On August 20, Well Off Media captured something unusual. Instead of HC Deion Sanders, it was Hunter imparting key skills to the Buffs’ safety. Known for his on-point gridiron skills, excelling on both sides Shilo had been more than eager to be his student. When Jr. panned the camera toward his brother to find out what was happening there, Shilo replied, “He’s [Hunter] teaching me how to highpoint like him.”

This was enough for Bucky to come up with a new tag for their dual threat as he let another question out, “So what is Coach Travis teaching?” However, Hunter marked himself safe from all these distractions. Instead, he kept his focus intact on living up to his new role as Shilo’s mentor. Now and then he kept on dropping advice nuggets, “You be like this you can just come back to wherever the receiver looks like he’s going to end up at you got to end up at least a yard behind.”

Meanwhile, Colorado Buffaloes interim Coach Mike Sanford gave Travis Hunter an interesting tag that further boosted his oomph factor. Sanford claimed, “I think as an NFL player I think he’s still going to be an X-factor…I think he has so much ability as a dynamic playmaker.” Hunter’s like a walking, talking motivational poster for the Buffs.
