They say at the end of the tunnel there is some light. But for Deion Sanders, the tunnel seems to be a never-ending one. Another blow came for the Buffs fam as Colorado star WR met with a serious injury. Well, how could Coach Prime not comment on the unfortunate happening?

But going by the mishap his hands are tied at the moment. All that he could do was send prayers for the player. Maybe, it is yet to set in for Deion that the player who had ‘laid it all’ suffered such an unfortunate outcome. Wait, that’s not the end. Even the Buffs’ dual-threat Travis Hunter took an exit after getting injured.

Deion Sanders’ heartfelt plea as the Buffs WR room takes another hit

Well, the 28-31 loss against their Big 12 rival, No.18 Wildcats was not the only blow that Deion and the Buffs got hit by. Deion’s WR Omarion Miller suffered a significant injury raging against the Kansas State. During a 51-yard reception from QB Shedeur with only 13 minutes 46 seconds left on the clock, the player was down with a knee injury. And it was evident that Miller was in pain and had to be escorted to the sideline in a wheelchair. How helpless must be Deion as he tweeted for Miller, “Praying for u my brother!”

While the Buffs fans waited with bated breath for his return, he didn’t. Later on, after the game, he was spotted in a wheelchair with his left leg wrapped. Meanwhile, the player himself came up with a heartbreaking post hinting at how the picture-perfect evening took a brutal turn for the emerging star. “Laid it all on the line #Godsplan,” tweeted Miler with a broken heart emoji.

Miller had won Deion and the Buffs’ hearts coming into the game with two catches for 71 yards and caught hold of eight receptions for 145 yards before taking a sudden exit. Even if Deion tries to move his attention away from Miller, more bad news awaits him.

Deion Sanders’ WR dilemma continues

Besides Miller, Colorado has two more key injuries at the wide receiver position. Just like the WR, Deion’s two-way star left with a right shoulder injury and did not return. Last Saturday evening turned out to be ominous as Hunter appeared to sustain the injury on a hit by Wildcats safety Daniel Cobbs hauled in a 14-yard reception during Q2. After Shedeur, Hunter is the one that Deion can blindly lay his trust on. And here the woes continued.

In the first half itself, Colorado lost their other WR, Jimmy Horn Jr. Going by the reports, there is some apparent injury in the ankle. Two plays before the dual threat was injured it was Horn Jr. who took a hit after a 12-yard catch. As per the speculations, besides Hunter, Jimmy Horn Jr., and Miller, there is a fourth receiver- Terrell Timmons Jr. who is said to have been injured.

And how is Deion Sanders coping with the mishap spree? “Hopefully they can get back at it, but we’re not going to rush them. Their safety and their health are much more important than this game,” confessed the Buffs HC. Looks like Colorado’s WRs are catching injuries not passes!
