NCAA Football 14! Fans were thrilled when that one hit shelves. The college football community then endured an 11-year hiatus, eagerly awaiting the beloved franchise’s return. Well, they finally got lucky in the 2024 season with the launch of EA Sports College Football 25, and expectations are sky-high this time. Now, the fever’s just soaring because there are already hints about a ’26 version—looks like no more long breaks! And it seems Rece Davis has already punched his ticket on a time machine and spilled a major update: EA Sports College Football 26 is actually thinking about the athletes, too.
Remember how the EA Sports College Football 25 has been a wild ride? The trailer had Travis Hunter replacing Shedeur Sanders. On the other hand, Arch Manning kept himself away as he didn’t want any distractions coming his way. Well, so we can expect that the EA Sports College Football 26 will not run short of drama. And it’s obvious that the fans can no longer keep their calm, as it is anticipated to be released this summer. That’s when ESPN College GameDay host Davis took matters into his own hands.
He was spotted igniting excitement on May 20, Tuesday, as found on Elite College Football’s IG post. Davis said, “We’ve covered every scenario imaginable.”

He further shared, “Added layers. More conversation on how your season is going. Everything is elevated @EASPORTSCollege is on the way soon….finishing touches here.” He just wanted to tingle with suspense among the fans, imagining things on their behalf. The post consists of a video right from the recording room, with Davis all geared up with a headset in front of a microphone. As Davis wrapped up the recording for the EA Sports College Football 26, the clip went viral. “Back to pass, it’s Russ, it’s Sunseri, it’s Arnett, it’s Mendenhall, it’s Walden, now to throw, it’s Traylor, it’s Kitchings, it’s Hazleton, it’s Allen, and that, kids, is a wrap.” And came with the perfect ending, keeping the suspense meter hitting high notes. “It’s coming soon.” So, when is the D-Day?
