Dad Lane Kiffin has been catching headlines after going full throttle with a 4-0 streak to start the season. On the flip side, daughter Landry Kiffin, too, is receiving some attention. The reason? Her personal life. Lane’s princess is now being linked with Ole Miss’ SEC rivals, LSU Tigers linebacker Whit Weeks. Is it official? Not yet. But Landry’s social media antics hint at love blossoming again in her life. Only a one-word caption for a post, “happy :),” that had Weeks along with her friends. And the fans are already making the most use of their stalking skills to find out keys that would give them an entry to what’s going on in Landry’s heart.

On September 22, Landry posted a thread of pictures. In the first snap, she was spotted with her friends. The next picture showed Landry wrapping her arm around Week’s neck. But the real suspense was in the comment section. Her friend Molly Beam wrote, “Is it the week of hard launching @kenziecregg.” Did Landry reply? Nope. She only liked the post. If that’s not enough of a hint, here’s some more.

Beam and McKenzie Lola, whom she tagged in her comment, are Landry’s Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority sisters. And when it’s about the matter of the heart, your girl gang is always on your speed dial. If the friends’ leg pulling is not enough to come with a seal of approval for Landry’s love life, the man involved himself took over. The 2024 First-Team All-SEC, star LSU junior linebacker, Weeks also dropped a comment. Under his speculated sweetheart, Landry’s post, he wrote, “Nice dude.” That’s all?

Definitely not. Landry played along and replied to Weeks, “thanks bud.” Now, there are theories about how and when Landry and Weeks started to get close. Going by the speculations, it might be during the Ole Miss vs LSU face-off from last season. In that particular game, Weeks earned SEC Defensive Player of the Week honors for the first time in an overtime win over the Rebels with a career-best 18 tackles, including 2.0 tackles for loss. Another big clue into the Landry-Weeks dating rumor? Landry’s dad, Lane, follows Weeks’ Instagram account. After all, by now we know how protective the Ole Miss head coach is about her daughters.

Will Landry Kiffin get approval from Lane Kiffin?

Back in February, Landry’s dad shared a clip from the Landman series that featured the famous Billy Bob Thornton, who played the character of Lt. Tommy Norris. The clip showed Norris having a heart-to-heart conversation with his daughter, Ainsley. Here came the word of advice from the on-screen father, “Honey, every romantic relationship you’ll ever have will be a failure, except the last one. Do you think this is the last relationship you’re ever gonna have?”

And Lane’s take on it? In the caption, he wrote, “Explaining to my teenage daughter that her first boyfriend will not be her last.” Maybe he was upset as that was the time when Landry endured a messy breakup with the former Ole Miss quarterback, Walker Howard.

Now that Landry is on her way to make a fresh start in her love life with Whit Weeks, will she gain approval from her parents? Her sister, Presley Kiffin, shared in a podcast about how she had a strict upbringing. The USC Trojans women’s volleyball player shared, “I wasn’t allowed to watch SpongeBob… there’s like dirty talk in it… I had pretty strict parents.” For the people waiting for confirmation, the Ole Miss–LSU clash could be the place to find more clues around this possible couple.
