The Colorado Buffaloes might be struggling on the scoreboard, but Deion Sanders’ sneaker game is still undefeated! All credit to the quintessential “King” touch that takes Coach Prime’s kicks collection a notch higher. Big news for the CFB and NBA fans! Two of their heroes will join hands again to come up with the much-hyped hybrid. The dynamic duo is at it again, making magic, and teaming up to kick it with style. While Deion and the Buffs fans still have to wait sometime for the big reveal, his signature kicks are making some noise in the NFL as well.

While Buffs fans-cum-sneakerheads are already counting the days until Deion debuts his first-ever Nike sneaker next year, their good times have just started. Even though they are now in a sour mood after the mishap against the Nebraska Cornhuskers, some instant mood lifters have dropped. According to reports, NBA legend LeBron “King” James and Deion are coming together with Nike to create a collaboration-style sneaker in 2025.

Wondering what this extraordinary mashup would look like? According to speculations, Nike will proceed with James’ current signature model, the Nike LeBron 21. And hold on! The $31.3 billion brand will fuse it with Deion’s debut pair, the Air Diamond Turf. They have come up with a name that’s as fresh as the sneakers themselves—Nike LeBron 21 Prime 93! They are expected to be released during the summer of ’25 and will be priced at $180.

And no brownie points for guessing—the color game is going to be top-notch with three variations: black, white, fire red, and metallic gold. But how are they going to blend the two signature designs? According to sources, the Nike LeBron 21 Prime 93 will feature the LeBron 21 exclusive Air Zoom-cushioned midsole. At the same time, signature elements of the Air Diamond Turf will find their way in the form of gold mesh cutouts and large midfoot straps. It will be an honor for fans to witness this magical spectacle for the second time.

LeBron’s way of saluting Deion Sanders

Back in February 2024, the Los Angeles Lakers star did something to win the hearts of fans other than scoring baskets. During the 20th NBA All-Star Game, he celebrated his legacy in the sport. But he ensured not to make everything about himself, instead using his footwear to pay homage to a special sports icon. James’ 21st season in the NBA celebration with the sports legend known for the No. 21 jersey—that was the plan!

And with this, Deion Sanders was honored as James raged on the basketball court with a special colorway of his signature sneakers—not the regular version of the Nike LeBron 21. The kicks were a nod to Deion’s Nike Air DT Max ’96. Of course, it had left James’ biggest fan, Coach Prime, on cloud nine as he gave a shoutout on Instagram, “Congratulations to my brother @kingjames for his Class, Grace, Passion, Commitment to Excellence & Consistency for 21 Years!!! Thank you as well for Rocking them ‘PRIMES’ on your stage. Love you, man, from Day 1.”

Meanwhile, Deion Sanders’ Air DT Max ’96 has been the most spotted footwear in the NFL this season. Star athletes like Josh Allen and Derrick Henry have already made the kicks a part of the gridiron-style game. Everyone’s eagerly waiting for 2025 to make room in their closets for the Nike LeBron 21 Prime 93. After all, they are going to be some legendary stuff!
