What a nail-biting match! No. 12 LSU and No. 23 USC in the Modelo Vegas Kickoff Classic were enough to leave the fans at the edge of their seats. However, there is one person who has been the saddest after the epic face-off. It’s none other than the LSU Tigers HC Brian Kelly, after they got schooled by Lincoln Riley’s Trojans in the art of defeat. With this, a frustrated Kelly threw his star QB under the bus. However, he didn’t forget to give a big thumbs-up to the star of the evening, Riley’s prized possession, QB Miller Moss. As Kelly is “angry” with the Tigers, the LSU fans had put their HC in the hot seat.

The first day of September was not a good day for the Tigers HC Kelly. After LSU’s 27-20 loss to Lincoln Riley’s USC Trojans, he faced the media. And Kelly could not help but hit Moss with a praise parade. More than nine months had passed since his iconic Holiday Bowl debut. It was time for Moss to bask in glory again as he brilliantly fired an unlikely pass toward the corner of the end zone. Ja’Kobi Lane was there already who caught the pass and hereby the QB’s touchdown helped with the win when only eight seconds were left.

Brian Kelly on the press meet thus claimed, “Played well tonight. He [Moss] outplayed our quarterback. He made the plays when he needed to.” Even though he didn’t attack their star QB Garrett Nussmeier directly when Moss found a way to the HC’s positive statement, it was enough for him to pick up the hints.

It seems that not just with Nussmeier, HC Kelly is upset with his whole squad as he further stated, “It’s the first time since I’ve been here (at LSU) that I’m angry at my football team…the thing that is most concerning for me are the personal fouls, the penalties that are selfish.” While the HC pins the loss on the team, LSU fans find the fault in Kelly’s coaching talent.

Brian Kelly’s losing woes continue

This Labor Day Weekend has been different for the LSU fans. This holiday is often associated with barbecues, parades, and making the most of the last bit of summer. But here they have been gifted with a new tradition: Brian Kelly and LSU losing in prime time.

While the Tigers fans lived by the hope that this Labor Day, their favorite program would gift them a win, but no, not this time! LSU hasn’t won a season-opening game ever since 2019. A fan held Kelly responsible for how the Tigers lost the close chase, “Why LSU even hired Brian Kelly in the first place ????”

The fault is in LSU’s stars that even hoarding so much talent, they ended up with a coach who failed at his role as a coach, “Brian Kelly is the least fun coach in America and he’s at the most fun program. Get somebody else.” Let’s see what trick Brian Kelly pulls out of his hat to shake off this losing streak.
