After Brian Kelly walked out the door, the LSU Tigers went and made more history. Sadly, just not the kind they’d brag about. The Bayou Bengals clawed out a gritty, grind-it-out night on offense to edge past Western Kentucky Hilltoppers. LSU slipped out of Death Valley with a 13-10 escape job. It counts as a win, but it’s nowhere near party-worthy.

On November 22, Wilson Alexander tweeted, “This may be the worst LSU offense in nearly 50 years — if not longer.  Since Division I split in 1978, LSU has not gone an entire season without scoring more than 25 points against an FBS team, per @RabalaisAdv research. That’s in danger of happening.”

While even after Kelly’s departure, the Tigers are struggling to find the rhythm, his son, Kenzel, fueled drama by voicing his demands on TV.
