Yes, Shilo Sanders‘ dream to patch up his parents before leaving Boulder did not come true. But at least his other dream was fulfilled. Well, we now have another rapper in the Sanders family. That’s none other than the Buffs’ safety. Like his father Deion Sanders and brother Shedeur, Shilo too unlocked a new profession. His debut album is here. And guess who is the proudest of him? Has to be his mother, Pilar Sanders. FINALLY, Shilo can now be free of the ‘nepo-baby’ tag.

We have known Deion not only as an NFL legend or a college football coach. Coach Prime is a pool of talent. He has tried his hands at acting which gifted him the huge Hollywood break. Plus he has also made use of his baritone and released the album Prime Time in 1994. Eventually, his sons too picked up their interest in rapping. For instance, his firstborn, Deion Sanders Jr. came up with quite a few gems like LUV, Rockies, I C Y. Then, Shedeur too earned huge fame with his Perfect Timing rap. Initially, Shilo had kept himself away from rapping. But this New Year maybe he had planned a surprise for his fam and the Buffs fans. On January 3, he dropped the big news.

On his IG story, Shilo shared his album. The name is as catchy as it could be, “Hate 2 Love.” He has kept the Hip-Hop/Rap genre. The album cover too stands out as Shilo is seen walking through a grassland while the background is covered with snow. It would make any music lover excited. So you can guess what Shilo’s mother must be going through. Just as her son broke the news on social media, mom Pilar turned into full support mode.

She posted a screenshot of the album on IG. The caption is surely going to touch your heart. She gave Shilo due credit and wrote, “FINALLY!!!!!! I’M SO PROUD OF YOU SON! THIS IS 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 written produced engineered performed by: @shilosanders #shilosanders #shilosandershatetolove ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 #proudmom.” Meanwhile, beyond the sport, this is not the first time that Shilo followed in Deion’s footsteps.

Shilo Sanders turned down brother Deion Sanders Jr.’s offer

Back in May last year, Deion dropped a big news. He wrote on Instagram, “@bmfstarz Season 3 Episode 10 guess who’s playing a Young PRIME! I’m so proud of @shilosanders he did the Doggone THANG! Good Lawd the SANDERS boys are exercising all the gifts that GOD gave them and having fun living this life that we only get 1 shot at. Live kids Live. #Dad #Bob.” It was Shilo’s first break in acting. And how lucky he must have been to be play to play the younger version of his father, THE DEION SANDERS.

Was the Buffs safety scared of playing his father on-screen? Not at all! Instead, Shilo shared, “It’s just kind of normal like doing commercials and stuff, it just felt like the same but it was cool being able to officially portray that.” It felt like a cakewalk since Shilo is always busy mimicking Coach Prime. Then why did he turn down his brother, Bucky’s offer?

During a recent video on Well Off Media, Deion Sanders Jr. offered the Buffs safety $500. So what did he have to do? Impersonate their dad. But Shilo straightaway denied the offer, “I’m not doing it.” Maybe Shilo now can’t take any risk compromising the ‘ideal son’ image that he has curated for himself.
