Kalen DeBoer’s tribe did not give Missouri even a single second to take their breath. Not only the players, but there goes a lot of effort by the unsung heroes that Kristen gives a shoutout after DeBoer’s hype. Meanwhile, now that the debut HC has debunked the “fire Kalen DeBoer” narrative, he has got back in the playoff conversation. 

Fans often raise the players and the HC to the pedestal. But often they tend to overlook the people in between who make it a smooth ride for the program. There are assigned personnel who take care of every single detail so that the program can just land in the stadium and pounce right into the action, solely concentrating on their gameplay. Right from the time DeBoer had filled in Saban’s shoes, the Tide fans were very skeptical. But when the program started well this season with the new HC at the helm, things started to turn out for the better with some of the big wins, like one against Kirby Smart’s Georgia. But soon, Kalen DeBoer was thrown under the bus after losing to underdogs like Vanderbilt and Tennessee. So much so that trends like “Fire Kalen DeBoer” started to do the rounds around social media. But Alabama’s one particular quality stood out that helped DeBoer regain his lost pride.

During the post-game conference, the HC hinted at what brought in an absolute WIN-WIN situation for Bama: “I thought there was a level of physicality that we had today on both sides.” Now that his program is back at its feet again after two back-to-back tumble-downs, what’s next?

Kalen DeBoer just now can’t sit back and relax since he feels that there is a lot of work that is yet to be done.
