All-time favorite Alabama Crimson Tide HC is known as a demure old man. However, whenever you have Pat McAfee around, your demureness goes for a toss! That’s what happened on College GameDay with the GOAT as well. While CFB fans are already rooting for the Saban-McAfee chemistry, Saban’s biggest enthusiast, daughter Kristen joined the chat. She couldn’t help but come up with a hilarious take on the bond between the two.

It seems that fans no longer miss Saban donning the HC hat for the Crimson Tide. After all, the seven-time national champion winner had wooed the fans by singing an all-time classic!

Saban’s daughter never misses a mark when it comes to the social media game. And how could she just let go of the hottest thing that CFB fans are going gaga about? Kristen posted a TikTok reel on her Instagram story on September 16th, using the popular ‘Identity Thief’ meme template. The clip featured Jason Bateman, looking completely clueless as he drives, while Melissa McCarthy, his passenger, is full of life, singing along to “I’m Gonna Be (500 Miles)” by The Proclaimers. Well, till this it was okay.

But Kristen’s captioning game made the reel 10x funnier leaving fans in stitches. Saban’s daughter tagged the one minding his own (driving) business as Saban and the lady bursting with energy as McAfee. By now you must have got the context. Well, in case you haven’t it’s about the clip that went viral. While College GameDays are always exciting for college football fans, they don’t usually expect to see McAfee feeding the GOAT a tomahawk steak live on air.

Yes, when his co-host offered a big bite of the steak, Saban leaned in and took the big bite. The ex-Alabama HC was like why bother when you can save energy by sweetly acknowledging the offer? Another clip captured McAfee dancing with Saban with the signature “What is this guy doing, and what am I doing here?” etched on the GOAT’s face. But don’t be fooled—Saban was secretly in party mode!

Nick Saban’s unexpected jam session steals fans’ hearts

It’s hard for anyone to say no to Darius Rucker’s top hit, “Wagon Wheel”– not even the Crimson Tide’s legendary figure Saban is immune to the song fever. The country star made a comeback in the honor of supporting his home state team, South Carolina. And how could College GameDay be not without any surprise that would leave fans’ heads reeling with excitement? This time too it was no exception.

Rucker had already turned on the thrill-o-meter taking the stage with a guitar. While the camera panned to the stands, fans were singing their hearts out. So was Saban who made fans’ hearts do cartwheels by jamming to the song from his spot at the commentator’s table. It was evident that the GOAT has some kind of nostalgia attached to the Rucker’s classic.

As the artist concluded his performance, Nick Saban revealed, “Every Saturday night we had a karaoke party at our house in recruiting, and the No. 1 requested song was ‘Wagon Wheel’!” The ex-HC’s alter-ego came out to play, all thanks to College GameDay ripping off his ‘serious coach’ disguise.
