Now what are siblings without some occasional bouts of legpulling? That’s something the Colorado Buffaloes’ sibling duo Shedeur Sanders and Shilo Sanders know the best. Well, it’s a common sight for either Shilo or Shedeur to team up with their dad, Deion Sanders, and troll the other. Sometimes, the brothers even team up to pull Coach Prime’s leg. They know how the Buffs fans are going to miss their light-hearted fights and banter once they are off to the NFL. So during their last few days in Boulder, the Sanders bros gifted some fun moments to the fans. But while trolling Shilo, did Shedeur just give away a big hint about his NFL journey? Yes, he did!

It’s sad that Shilo and Shedeur’s joint plan to reunite mom Pilar Sanders and dad Deion did not work out. Maybe they do not have much time on their hands to try their luck for the second time. But at least the siblings are having fun on their own. And when does their banter session ever run short of entertainment? This time was no exception.

Shilo and Shedeur were spotted practicing for the Alamo Bowl against the BYU Cougars which is on Saturday, December 28. And when both the Sanders are on the field, it’s bound to be fun. The conversation started with Shilo making fun of his younger bro Shedeur’s cleats: “Bro this guy has fake Diamond Turf..he’s Deion Sanders’ son.” To which the Buffs QB kept on claiming, “These are not paint.” That’s when the trolling heated up.  

Calling Shedeur’s cleat “fake?” Shedeur has the perfect answer for it. “We know where we’re going, baby…We know where we’re going, baby. You’ll see them in the cleats later on this week,” the Buffs QB dropped a bomb. His brother definitely did not believe Shedeur. The Buffs’ safety thus retaliated, “You don’t know where you’re going…bro, the team might trade up.” But Shedeur had his answer ready as he claimed, “You can’t get higher than one.” Can you guess the NFL program? 

It has to be the New York Giants as right now Brian Daboll’s program holds the No.1 pick in the 2025 NFL draft. Plus, the Giants are struggling with QB woes as they have released their QB, Daniel Jones, midseason. Now what does Deion have to say about the Shedeur X Giants collab? 

Deion Sanders doubles down on Shedeur Sanders’ potential

The Pro Football Hall of Famer and the Buffs HC appeared on The Pacman Jones Show. On the podcast, Deion went vocal about his conviction that his son Shedeur is going to be the top selection. “Shedeur’s going to be the No. 1 pick,” Coach Prime sounded confident. Jones then counter-questioned the proud father, “If the [New York] Giants have the No. 1 pick, who is the No. 1 pick?” Deion did not shift from his opinion and repeated his quote. 

But what about the Las Vegas Raiders? Well, Antonio Pierce and Co. entered the 16th week of the 2024 season holding the first overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. But on December 22, they grabbed a 19-14 win against the Jacksonville Jaguars. That’s when the win over the Jaguars dropped Las Vegas from the top spot. Then what’s the option for Pierce? 

As Deion Sanders predicted, “See, that’s when the game starts to play. The Raiders could go with Cam [Ward], or it could be some junk in the game and the Raiders could take [Hunter]… or they could slide back.” Now if you think that the plot has thickened, Shedeur Sanders dropped a one-word response to fuel the rumor. When asked about his preference, the Buffs QB replied, “Both.” With this, it’s a nail-biting wait for fans now!
