How far can you go to get a free entry to your favorite game? Well, every single day the fans are leaving spellbound, coming up with new levels of gatecrashing. The November 30 matchup between Steve Sarkisian’s Texas Longhorns and Mike Elko’s Texas A&M will be remembered in years to come, all thanks to two die-hard fans. Yes, instead of following the fair way of witnessing the Lone Star Showdown, the duo went for unfair means, making use of their fake credentials to get an entry. But maybe Sarkisian is not quite interested in the fan drama as he already has too many things on his plate, struggling with the QB dilemma.

The Kyle Field has been filled to the brim. So crowd management has been no easy task. After all, it’s the much-awaited Lone Star showdown, folks! The Sarkisian vs. Elko game was yet to start when the fans started to drum up action. Well, not the regular bottle-throwing sessions, but they cooked up something even more thrilling than that. An hour before the game whistle blew, Texas A&M police came up with a tweet that read, “Two men wearing reflective vests & hard hats entered the stadium with fake construction credentials. Arrested for Criminal Trespass. #BTHOtu.”

Yes, that’s how desperate fans were to get a seat in the much-awaited game. If you think that’s enough, let me tell you that fans never stopped to amaze when it came to their shenanigans before Sarkisian’s boys raged against Mike Elko’s boys. As another tweet from Texas A&M Police stated, “University Rules Violation – PA 68. A man was riding a horse and another man & his dog were riding a longhorn. Agreed to leave campus. #BTHOtu.”

Well, we get it. After all, the ticket prices were mammoth given the high stakes put on the game, as the winner between Sarkisian’s Longhorns and Elko’s Aggies will clinch the ticket to the SEC Championship game next week. Maybe, deep down, the fans thought that making their love heard by doing things out of the box would somehow melt Sarkisian’s heart. But little did they know that the Texas HC himself is too deep in his own problems.

Quinn Ewers’ setback leaves Steve Sarkisian at crossroads

Well, even though the Texas QB Quinn Ewers struggled with his injury, somehow Sarkisian still hoped for things to get better. It was apparent that the Texas HC favored his starting QB over Arch Manning. While Ewers looked better for the time being, he again fell prey to an ankle injury during their face-off against the Kentucky Wildcats. And this might have left Sarkisian heartbroken, since at last Ewers’ rehabilitation did not progress as expected and he was omitted from the big game on November 30.

But maybe the HC’s heart still longed for his favorite QB. That’s when a fan dished out a warning for Sarkisian: “If Quinn isn’t healthy play Manning. Can’t mess around this game. Must win. Before his ankle injury he has been playing timind after his last injury. If he is limited the Aggies will just all out Blitz him all game.” But here comes some boost that the Longhorns HC must have been looking for.

On the College GameDay, GOAT Nick Saban made his choice heard by stating, “Of all the places in the SEC, this is the place that I respected most. I respected the tradition, the spirit, the passion. Coming to play here was the hardest place to play in the SEC, but I’m taking Texas.” Now’s the moment for Sarkisian to steer the ship with what he has, not what he wishes for.
