The 2024 season is yet to get over, but the theories have already started to pour in for Colorado Buffaloes QB Shedeur Sanders. Well, we all know that it’s the last ride for Deion Sanders’ son in college. As he would be soon off to the NFL, College GameDay host Pat McAfee put on his hat as a theorist as he was able to pick up some hints about Shedeur’s next destination. Going by his hard guesses, there are chances of Shedeur joining hands with the $7.8 billion NFL team, Las Vegas Raider. No matter how much the Buffs QB pretends, it’s all part of the program’s shady plan to keep it a secret until the signing day. Maybe, somewhere Shedeur too has some personal interest in joining the giant and is part of the shady plan.

Do you know what makes Shedeur so enticing as an early NFL Draft pick? The way he flipped the narrative from being the most sacked player in the 2023 season, carrying the burden of 52 sacks to throwing 2,591 yards, with 21 touchdowns and six interceptions in 2024. There has been a buzz for quite some time that Shedeur is going to land up with the $7.85 billion NFL giant, Las Vegas Raiders. But looks like the Buffs QB is clever enough to not give away any hints as McAfee pointed out his actions on The Pat McAfee Show, “The internet has reported that after every Raiders loss Shedeur Sanders has put out thank you God tweets.”

So it gives enough clues as the analyst claimed, “That feels like the right home for Shedeur Sanders, especially with a team that’s trying to find an identity.” Well, the Raiders are already in a tough spot after their embarrassing 25-10 loss to the Los Angeles Rams. Plus, HC Antonio Pierce has been robbed of his goodnight’s sleep after his QB Aidan O’Connell took an exit due to a thumb injury while their other QB Gardner Minshew II was benched for his substandard performance. But in case Shedeur is all set to join Raiders what makes him happy at their loss?

Here comes the most interesting part. CBS Sports HQ analyst Todd Fuhrman had set out a perfect plan for Pierce. He now needs to follow these steps, “1) tank to go 2-15 2) draft Shedeur Sanders 3) hire Deion as head coach 4) create buzz and become relevant again.” So. the Raiders now make no efforts for the sole purpose of landing with a poor record to get the top 5 pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. But what makes them so desperate about Deion’s son?

Shedeur Sanders unmatched accuracy this season

Shedeur Sanders’ 2024 stats would be difficult for any NFL giant to ignore. First things first, at 6-foot-2, 215 pounds, the Buffs QB has solid NFL quarterback size. Even though he has multiple shortfalls like not possessing a rocket arm or blazing speed, these weak points take a backseat when it comes to his elite command on offense, improved pocket navigation, and excellent accuracy. Plus, Shedeur has improved himself heavily.

He has completed 72 percent of his passes. But what makes the Las Vegas Raiders go that extra mile for the Buffs QB? Maybe they have learned from their last year’s lesson. On ESPN”s First Draft, analyst Mel Keiper stated, “The Raiders thought they were going to get a QB last year picking with the 13th. They didn’t get Michael Penix Jr. who they targeted. They sat where they were and they were all gone.”

So this season, they are going to be all aggressive with their QB hunt. That’s where Shedeur Sanders is cashing in the chance, folks! Now you get the reason behind the Buffs QB going with sneaky tweets praying for the Raiders’ downfall, right?
