As quoted from FormulaPassion. It, Croft said, “We need this rivalry, we need stories that go hand in hand with the action. The rivalry between Hamilton and Verstappen has been brewing for years – because Verstappen is extremely good, as we know Hamilton is good.”
He added, “And the statistics show it. But Max didn’t always have the car to challenge Lewis. But now it does. Lewis has spoken in the past about how Max is the one he fears because he knows how good he is. He knows he’s tough, he’s fast. He’s not bad, but he’ll put his car in a position where Lewis will have to raise his level to beat him. ”
