Bill Belichick is getting really busy these days! The six-time Super Bowl champ traded his customary hoodie attire for a Northwestern University jersey. Belichick’s presence on the sidelines of a women’s lacrosse match raised eyebrows as he traded plays with the Wildcats’ head coach, Kelly Amonte Hiller.

While Belichick’s interest in lacrosse may appear unconventional, his soft spot for the sport has been well-documented over the years. He played the game in high school and college, and even brought in former players like Chris Hogan to suit up for the Patriots.

Belichick and Amonte Hiller go way back, too. The two coaches connected over a decade ago when Amonte Hiller’s squad was gunning for their third straight NCAA title. She reached out to Belichick, hoping to pick his brain, and the rest is history.

“I thought someone was messing with me,” Amonte Hiller told GQ Sports, recalling their first chat. “But it was really him.” Since then, the two have maintained a close relationship, with Amonte Hiller even mentoring  Belichick’s daughter as she climbed the lacrosse coaching ranks.

Now, as Belichick takes a timeout from the NFL grind, he’s keeping busy by lending a hand to the Wildcats. The Hoodie’s visit to Evanston has people wondering – is he plotting a move to the college lacrosse scene? Or is he simply indulging in his other sporting passion while he waits for his next big gig?

Whatever the case may be, one thing is clear – Belichick’s impact extends far beyond the football field. When the GOAT shows up, you know it’s gonna be a barn-burner, no matter the sport.

Bill Belichick is mentoring the next generation

Bill Belichick has also been making his presence felt on the gridiron. He was spotted at the University of Washington Huskies practice session. Steve Belichick, Billl’s son, is the newly appointed defensive coordinator at the University of Washington. Fans can’t help but wonder if the champ shared any of his defensive “secrets” with the team, potentially giving them a leg up as they look to bounce back from a heartbreaking championship loss.
