The temperatures for the game are predicted to be around 18 degrees and will fall further as the game progresses. However, the unrelenting snow has been causing issues for the staff at the Highmark Stadium. They have called on volunteers to assist in the shoveling program.

As the Highmark Stadium is around 50 years old, it lacks the cutting-edge technology that many other stadiums possess. Especially the underground heaters, which help in the snow-melting process.
