CeeDee Lamb‘s mother Leta Ramirez garnered the spotlight for a Facebook post. It targeted Dak Prescott after the Dallas Cowboys experienced their surprising season-ending loss against the Packers. While many blamed coach Mike McCarthy for the disheartening gameplay, others expressed their disappointment in Dak Prescott.

The NFC No. 2 seed fell 48-32, putting a full stop to their progress in the league. It was a major chance for the Cowboys to advance to the NFC Championship, something they haven’t done since 1995. Alas! Dak Prescott and his squad couldn’t maintain the regular season momentum and picked the worst time for loss at the AT&T Stadium. It was CeeDee Lamb’s mother who reportedly pointed fingers, brutally roasting the quarterback in a social media post.

According to a post by the ‘Eagles Nation’ on X, CeeDee Lamb’s mother called out the Cowboys’ quarterback in a Facebook post. In the now-deleted post, Leta Ramirez candidly wrote, “DAK ISNT IT!!!” Her post garnered supportive reactions, with one requesting her to ask Lamb to come in the team of CJ Stroud, i.e. Houston Texans, claiming that the rookie quarterback would love him.

To which, Ramirez replied, “sh*t I wish he would ! CJ is great.” Furthermore, in the later debate, Lamb’s mother spoke about Prescott, saying, “They need to get rid of [Dak’s] a*s.. It’s guys on that team that want a RING! They work too hard.. [Dak] don’t want to win a RING !

She also lauded Houston Texans QB CJ Stroud. Interestingly, Lamb went to high school in Ford Bend County Texas. This is just 40 minutes away from NRG Stadium where Texans and Stroud play. While there was much confusion about Ramirez’s Facebook post, considering her inactive social media presence, CBS Sports has also reported the Dak Prescott episode.

Dallas Cowboys Trade Rumors: Jerry Jones Seemingly in a Dilemma Over Dak Prescott and CeeDee Lamb; What’s Next?

Not only this, but the “Dak Isn’t It” post was also shared by Dallas Texas TV. However, Leta Ramirez’s Facebook account is now deactivated, making one wonder if it was a fake account. No official comment has come from either Ramirez or Lamb. What’s more important here is the Cowboys QB-WR gridiron chemistry that witnessed turbulence this season. The team’s owner, Jerry Jones, may have faith in Lamb. But again, Prescott and Lamb have been uncomfortable throughout the season.

Here’s what CeeDee Lamb’s chemistry with Dak Prescott looks like

Jerry Jones has a strong belief in Lamb’s potential to become one of the greatest receivers for the Cowboys. This conviction was so profound that he persuaded Lamb to wear the iconic no. 88, a number associated with legendary receivers like Drew Pearson, Michael Irvin, and Dez Bryant. Lamb has indeed lived up to expectations by delivering impressive performances. However, there’s a crucial aspect he still needs to fulfill.

And that is the “ring,” but for that, he needed to connect well with Prescott. According to Lamb’s momma, Dak isn’t interested in winning “the ring.” Lamb previously stated that Prescott approached him to talk things out. “If you have a problem with anything, just come up to me and we’ll talk about it,” Lamb said that Prescott said, via Jon Machota of The Athletic.

The way the 2023 season rolled out, it can be said that the connection between the two hasn’t been as potent as it was last season when Lamb recorded a career-high 107 receptions for 1,359 yards and nine touchdowns. Through five games this season, Lamb has found the end zone just once and has been held to under 55 yards three times.

Prescott and Lamb are arguably the NFL’s most dynamic duo (with Tyreek Hill not at 100%). But, the only question is whether the offensive power they can provide will be enough for a team that sometimes falls short on the gridiron. This was yet another Playoff failure for the Cowboys, but there is always a next time!
