The Philadelphia Eagles played like the Super Bowl champs in the first four weeks, but have been struggling for the past couple of weeks. First, they dropped the Week 5 game against the Denver Broncos before a Week 6 embarrassing loss against the New York Giants in Week 6. To make it trickier, their defense now has a noticeable hole.

Now that the 33-year-old has hung up his cleats after 11 incredible seasons of professional football, let’s take a look at his net worth and his career earnings.
What is Za’Darius Smith’s Net Worth in 2025?
After spending a couple of years at Kentucky, Smith joined the Baltimore Ravens as a fourth round, 122nd overall pick in the 2015 NFL draft. But the edge rusher struggled to make an immediate impact upon entering professional football. For the next decade, Smith had been a journeyman edge rusher, having played for six different teams.
The Green Bay Packers, Minnesota Vikings, Cleveland Browns, you name it. The 33-year-old had brief stints with multiple teams before eventually joining the Eagles. Per reports, Smith signed a one-year, $4.25 million deal, including performance incentives. If the reports are accurate, the maximum value of his contract was $8.25 million.
In terms of performance incentives, Smith could have earned $500K for a Pro Bowl selection. On top of that, he stood to make another $500K if he played at least 30% of the snaps in the NFC Championship and the Eagles won the NFC title. But that is if he recorded at least 11 regular-season sacks or made the Pro Bowl, with the same conditions applying if the Eagles reached the Super Bowl. Fast forward to now, and Smith has already hung up his cleats.
