Travis Kelce arrived in Miami for the F1 Grand Prix and went instantly viral, but not for the reason you’d expect! While he met his close friend, Patrick Mahomes, Taylor Swift wasn’t anywhere to be found. The Kansas City Chiefs duo recently invested in Alpine Racing and landed in Florida to show support for the team.

Kelce’s arrival was announced by Alpine on X, captioned, “Welcome to Florida, Travis 🤙🤙” The tight end was seen sporting green co-ords and shades along with a black cap with the team’s logo.

Apart from the usual where-is-Taylor comments, there was another interesting trend that refreshed quite some memories. Taylor’s former rumored beau, Fernando Alonso, is in Miami for the Grand Prix. While the Aston Martin driver and the singer’s link-up was never confirmed, it didn’t stop the fans from poking fun at the coincidence. F1 fans were tagging Alonso, poking fun at the driver, and asking him to respond.

Swifties were quick to notice this and reignited discourse about the past link-up rumors, even causing Alonso to jump on the train!

The Grammy winner’s latest album, The Tortured Poets Department, was riddled with references to Kelce and also her past boyfriends. One such song titled, ‘imgonnagetyouback,’ considered to be about Matty Healy, had a line that caught the attention of the F1 arena. Swifties were left guessing whether the lyrics, “I’m an Aston Martin you drove straight into the ditch/ then ran and hid,” was a nod to Alonso.

The revived buzzing about the rumored relationship reached the F1 driver, who decided to utilize the fans’ curiosity. Alonso was featured in a promotional video for Aston Martin, with Swift’s song playing in the background. The 42-year-old is seen scrolling on his iPad, making a shushing sign at the camera.

Whether the rumors have any substance or not, Taylor Swift and Fernando Alonso sure seem to be having fun playing with the joke.  As for Travis Kelce, the Chiefs star is all ready to support his team as the Maimi GP commences.
