The Wilsons are enjoying great times! While the last season for the 1x Super Bowl Champion, Russell Wilson wasn’t an ideal one, things are finally turning around. All thanks to the Pittsburgh Steelers’ bold acquisition of the 9-time Pro Bowler that signaled a seismic shift, igniting hopes of a roster renaissance. The fans can finally envision a thunderous roar erupting through the packed Acrisure Stadium as Russell Wilson takes the field, donning the iconic black and yellow for the first time.

However, the 35-year-old isn’t the only star of the Wilson clan. His wife, Ciara has her accomplishments to boast about. The recent accolade was carried out at the NAACP Image Awards alongside none other than “Under the Influence” star Chris Brown.  Thus, as the gridiron buzzes with anticipation for Russell’s impact, the Wilson family has another reason to rejoice. Ciara’s yet another triumphant win adds to the couple’s joyous revelry of embracing the new home in Pittsburgh.

Wife Ciara Wilson shares Russell Wilson’s radiant glow

Ciara hit a celebratory double, winning the NAACP Image Award for Outstanding Duo/Group alongside Chris Brown for their collaboration “How We Roll.”  The victory adds to the festive atmosphere already surrounding their recent engagement anniversary. Meanwhile, Chris Brown, Davido and Lojay also won the Outstanding group/collab (traditional) for “Sensation.”

In case you had any doubt, they STILL got the moves!” the NAACP Image Awards Instagram account congratulated Ciara and Brown. The singer commented under the post “Grateful” with three red hearts. Ciara herself also shared Chris Brown’s post announcing their win. She captioned the story, “Love ya Breezy! We Jammed all the way out!!” with three black hearts.

The award triumph fittingly coincided with Ciara and Wilson’s anniversary commemorating their 2016 engagement. The couple, who met in 2015 and married a year later, have three children together – marking a special family celebration on multiple fronts. As the couple will probably celebrate this accomplishment of Ciara, Russell Wilson’s recent move to Steelers will also add to the list of good fortunes.

Russell Wilson’s probable QB1 status gets a boost

The Pittsburgh Steelers are making strategic moves to fortify both their roster and Wilson’s potential as the starting quarterback. Former Broncos guard Mark Schlereth, on the Rich Eisen Show, confidently predicts that the Steelers will lean towards Wilson as their preferred QB1 over Kenny Pickett, emphasizing a lack of competition in that regard.

Schlereth’s insights align with the reports of the Steelers’ defensive power move of signing ex-Ravens linebacker Patrick Queen to a lucrative three-year, $41 million deal. This impactful acquisition can fill a significant void in the team’s defense and contribute to a dynamic support system for Wilson’s future plays.
