Patrick Mahomes is a great family man aside from being a great athlete. The Chiefs QB is just as close to his sweetheart Brittany and 2 sons as he is to his TE Kelce or RB Pacheco on the gridiron. His close relations with everyone surrounding him have often broken the barrier between his professional and personal life. Such was the case once again at the recent New Year’s bash.

The QB celebrated the day with his family and his teammates. But rather than keeping it to two different occasions, they were all spotted together in the same party. Mahomes also shared a snap from the party with Brittany and his vibrant teammate, Isiah Pacheco.

Mahomes is as expressive at a party as he is in the field. He likes to have fun and remain close to his loved ones whatever the occasion is. That’s why for his New York Bash, the QB called up Chiefs RB Isiah Pacheco to celebrate the occasion with him. And Mahomes never forgets to frame his special moments, as he did this time. In his Instagram stories, the QB shared a picture of the trio in a cheerful mood.

Pacheco can be seen in the middle of the photo, accompanied by the Mahomes on either side. Brittany is hugging the RB, whereas Mahomes can be seen throwing up a party sign to the camera. Everyone looks to be enjoying the moment as suggested by the bright smiles on their face.

However, now that the party is over, both the QB and the RB are back to the old grind, trying to save the Chiefs’ season. The defending champions have put up their worst record since the arrival of Mahomes, and it’s the same vice versa too. With the lack of a powerful receiving line, RB Pacheco is all Mahomes has.

One take at a time

My story of becoming an NFL writer is as interesting as my story of becoming an MMA practitioner. Coming from such a sport where athletes look to knock the brain cells off each other for a living, I liked the aggression that American Football had to offer. Before I even realized it, I religiously started following American football, picking up the most challenging in-depth write-ups.
