Travis Hunter and his wife, Leanna Lenee, celebrated their first wedding anniversary back in May and are now preparing to celebrate their son’s first birthday later this month. Still, if there’s one thing that has remained constant in the couple’s lives, it’s the persistent divorce rumors, something that even led Lenee to leave Facebook at one point.
Now, Lenee has once again addressed social media speculation surrounding her relationship with the Jacksonville Jaguars‘ two-way player. In a recent TikTok video, as she got ready for the Jaguars’ second preseason matchup against the Carolina Panthers, a game they eventually lost 34-17, a fan asked in the comments: “I just came from IG, why are people saying she’s divorcing him? Genuine question.”
To which Lenee replied, “They say this every month girl lol.”
The divorce rumors surrounding the couple began even before Hunter started his rookie season with the Jaguars in 2025. One post on X claimed that Hunter and Lenee were getting divorced and that she was demanding $40 million, with the caption reading, “Everyone saw this, except him (Hunter).” That claim, however, was later debunked as false.
A couple of months earlier, another social media post had gone viral, claiming there was tension in the couple’s relationship. The post alleged that Hunter caught his wife cheating after they got married and that he would have to pay her $200,000 a month for the rest of his life. Once again, however, the claim was ruled false.
That led Leanna Lenee to share her frustration on one of her TikTok videos, where she claimed, “I let Facebook have it bc according to them we be getting divorced every other month,” when a fan admitted their endorsement of the couple on the platform. For now, however, it’s safe to say that Travis Hunter and Leanna Lenee are in a healthy relationship.
The couple tied the knot in May 2025 after dating for three and a half years. Since then, both Hunter and Lenee have frequently dominated headlines over their relationship. It started when Lenee didn’t stand up during Hunter’s Heisman Trophy-winning moment, before leading to her past before the marriage.
At the same time, however, Lenee has never shied away from making her stance clear when it comes to the false claims surrounding her relationship with Hunter. Hunter, on the other hand, is all set to start his second NFL season with the Jaguars after his rookie year was cut short due to an injury.
