Week 7 of the 2025 NFL season is here, and before we kick things off with the Cincinnati Bengals taking on the Pittsburgh Steelers, it’s time to break down where every team stands. Time for the UberRankings!

Watch What’s Trending Now!

But before we dive into the rankings, let’s rewind a bit and talk about how wild last week really was. It won’t take much time.

For starters, the Buffalo Bills and the Philadelphia Eagles—both sitting pretty at 4-0 just a couple of weeks ago—have suddenly hit a wall with back-to-back losses. Meanwhile, the Kansas City Chiefs got their groove back against the Detroit Lions, and somehow, someway, the Indianapolis Colts are sitting on top of the league through six weeks.

Injuries have thrown a wrench into almost every team’s rhythm. Of course, that’s a whole conversation for another day, but it’s impossible to ignore how much those injuries have reshaped the team rankings. The rankings you’re about to see aren’t just ours. They pull from the big guns like CBS, NFL.com, The Athletic, and a few more. Think of it as the ultimate mashup: everything, everywhere, all at once. Let’s have a look.

The New York Jets didn’t appear to be a playoff team at the start of the season. Still, no one expected Aaron Glenn to stare at a 0-6 skid in his first year as the HC and the Jets to be the only winless team heading into Week 7.

Their defense regressed in Week 6, and so did their offense. Justin Fields took 9 sacks and couldn’t even manage to throw for 50 yards, resulting in a 13-10 loss to the Denver Broncos. This is exactly why ES, The Athletic, NFL.com, ESPN, and literally every other outlet rank the Jets at 32.

article-image

31. Tennessee Titans

The Tennessee Titans appeared to be the worst team through the first four weeks. They proved everyone wrong in Week 5 after Cam Ward registered the first win of his career. But Week 6 confirmed that the Titans are the worst team than we thought (20-10 loss to the Las Vegas Raiders).

The team has scored only 83 points so far, which is the worst in the franchise history (Titans/Oilers) since 1985. They aren’t division title contenders, the head coach has already been fired, and except for CBS (29th) and PFT (30th), ES, ESPN, Yahoo, NFL.com, Bleacher Report (B/R), and others rank them at 31.

article-image

30. Miami Dolphins

After a 29-27 close loss to the Los Angeles Chargers, the Miami Dolphins‘ defensive struggles have started to pop up. They’re tied for the 18th most sacks (12) and are the worst team when it comes to allowing rushing yards per game (168.5).

On top of that, head coach Mike McDaniel is already on the hot seat, and Tyreek Hill is out for the season. That said, ES, ESPN, Yahoo, and B/R rank them at 30, while NFL.com, SI, and The Athletic rank them at 29th. Last but not least, Fox ranks them at 28.

article-image

29. Cleveland Browns

The Cleveland Browns have one of the youngest rosters in the league with 14 rookies. The quarterback room alone is relying on a pair of rookie QBs. However, Cleveland is struggling to find its rhythm.

They surely have the best defense, but thanks to an ugly offense (13.67 points per game), ES, ESPN, B/R, and FOX rank them at 29. Meanwhile, Yahoo (26), CBS and PFT (28), NFL.com, and The Athletic rank them at 30.

article-image

28. New Orleans Saints

The New Orleans Saints have relied on field goals in the past couple of weeks. We’re talking ten attempted field goals (eight converted), and just one touchdown by Spencer Rattler, while the only other being from Taysom Hill.

After a 25-19 loss against the New England Patriots, the Saints are 1-5 heading into Week 7. ES places them at 26, while NFL.com at 25. Meanwhile, ESPN (28), Yahoo & PFT (29), B/R, SI, and The Athletic (28), and FOX & CBS don’t seem to believe in their calibre as they rank them at 30.

article-image

27. Cincinnati Bengals

The Bengals have tried a pair of quarterbacks in the form of Jake Browning and Joe Flacco. But none seems to replace Joe Burrow’s calibre. Cincy lost its fourth consecutive game of the season after a 27-18 loss to the Green Bay Packers.

While their expensive wideouts have been efficient, the defense isn’t much of a help either. This is why ES and Yahoo place them at 28. However, ESPN, along with NFL.com, FOX, CBS, PFT, and The Athletic rank them 27. Meanwhile, B/R and SI seem to have some hope as they ranked them 25th and 22nd, respectively.

article-image

26. Las Vegas Raiders

With a new quarterback, Geno Smith under center, a new offensive coordinator, Chip Kelly commanding the offense, and a new head coach, Pete Carroll running the show, the Raiders secured their second win of the season when they dismantled the struggling Titans.

While the playoff race looks far from here, ES, along with Yahoo and SI, rank Vegas at 27 ahead of Week 7. ESPN, B/R, FOX, and The Athletic placed them at 26. But NFL.com seemed a bit harsh on them as they rank the team at 28. The only exception is PFT, which placed them at 24.

article-image

25. Arizona Cardinals

The Arizona Cardinals have dropped four out of six games after the Colts beat them 31-27 last week. But one thing that seems clear is that Arizona is struggling to close out the games in its favor.

Heading into Week 7, ES and Yahoo placed them at 25, while NFL.com, B/R, FOX, CBS, and The Athletic rank them 24. Meanwhile, ESPN slotted them at 23 and PFT at 26.

article-image

24. New York Giants

Jaxson Dart is one of the best things that has happened to the New York Giants in recent times. While he looked vulnerable in Week 5, his strong outing against the Eagles has shown signs of being a franchise quarterback.

But the New York team sits near the bottom in Uber rankings. Most outlets, including ES (22), ESPN (25), and The Athletic (22), see them struggling. Yahoo slotted them at 24, while SI & FOX at 25, with NFL.com & CBS at 26.

article-image

23. Baltimore Ravens

Cooper Rush was supposed to be the Baltimore Ravens‘ safety net with Lamar Jackson out, but things haven’t exactly gone according to plan. The Ravens have already dropped both games with Rush under center, throwing four interceptions and zero touchdowns, and putting up just 13 points total.

Unsurprisingly, opinions on the team are all over the place. ES and ESPN slot them at 24, reflecting a slight two-point dip, while B/R is harsher at 27. NFL.com, SI, FOX, and CBS see them at 23, and PFT, along with The Athletic, peg them at 25.

article-image

22. Dallas Cowboys

The Dallas Cowboys have a glaring defensive issue as they’re constantly giving away over 30 points. Sure, the Dak Prescott’s offense looked sharp in a 30-27 loss to the Carolina Panthers. But the QB failed to convert and take a lead on their final possession of the game. The Panthers made them pay with over six minutes remaining in the game.

This is why ES slots Dallas at 23, with ESPN, Yahoo, and NFL all in the 22–23 range, showing a near-unanimous agreement about their position. B/R and SI see them slightly lower at 21 and 24, respectively.

article-image

21. Carolina Panthers

Thanks to an impeccable offensive performance from Rico Dowdle, the Panthers’ rushing attack helped the team secure a crucial win over Dallas.

And with a jump of 3.1 points from last week, ES, ESPN, and Yahoo have them around 21–22, while NFL, B/R, FOX, CBS, The Athletic, and SI confirm the sentiment. The only exception is PFT, which placed them well ahead of others at 20.

article-image

20. Houston Texans

The Houston Texans have faced tough competition in the past few weeks. We’re talking the Los Angeles Rams, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and the Jacksonville Jaguars before their Week 6 bye.

And heading into Week 7, ES ranks the Texans at 19, closely matching ESPN, Yahoo, and NFL.com at 20, showing a consistent view of their struggles. B/R, SI, and CBS are in line at 20 as well. While PFT is yet again the only exception with 21.

article-image

19. Minnesota Vikings

The quarterbacking was never supposed to be controversial under Kevin O’Connell’s watch. But this season is different for the Minnesota Vikings. Their gamble of moving on from Sam Darnold in favor of J.J. McCarthy is clearly backfiring. While he’s surely sidelined due to an injury, he put up the worst QBR in the first two weeks when he was healthy.

And after their Week 6 bye, ES has the Vikings at 20, while ESPN and Yahoo are a bit more optimistic at 18 and 19. NFL, B/R, and SI hover around 19, and CBS keeps them a touch lower at 16, along with PFT at 18, and The Athletic at 17.

article-image

18. Chicago Bears

Ben Johnson and Caleb Williams have done it twice now. Thanks to special teams’ efforts, their identical 25-24 wins in Week 4 against the Raiders and in Week 6 against the Washington Commanders have given them something to be optimistic about among their strong peers.

This is why ES ranks the Chicago Bears 17th, with basically every outlet out there ranking them in the high teens (ESPN 19, Yahoo, SI, FOX, CBS, PFT, and The Athletic 17, with NFL & B/R at 18.

article-image

17. Washington Commanders

Jayden Daniels and Co. surely bounced back in Week 5, but that can’t be said about Week 6 when they faced the Bears. The crystal? Multiple turnovers. Three in total, and one of them was a crucial fumble from Daniels that snatched the Week 6 game from the Commanders.

Now, heading into Week 7, ES has Washington at 18, right in line with ESPN (17) and Yahoo, though NFL and SI/Bleacher Report are a bit more optimistic at 12 and 16. CBS, The Athletic, and PFT push them slightly lower at 19.

article-image

16. Atlanta Falcons

The NFL recently named Bijan Robinson the NFL Offensive Player of the Week. The RB rushed for 170 yards on 19 carries with one rushing score while also adding 68 more through the air on 6 receptions against the Bills. The Atlanta Falcons struggled initially in the season, but they’ve now found the rhythm.

For now, ES and Yahoo rank them at 13. But ESPN has been a bit harsh on them, placing them at 16. The rest of them are in teens. For instance, NFL.com at 17, B/R, FOC, and PFT at 14, SI and CBS at 18, and The Athletic at 15.

article-image

15. Los Angeles Chargers

The Chargers finally took a sigh of relief after their back-to-back losses in Weeks 4 and 5. Thanks to a great passing offense against the Dolphins, the Chargers piled up 263 passing yards out of 403 total yards and avoided their third consecutive loss of the season.

Now, ES slots them at 16, with ESPN and Yahoo at 13 and 12, showing a mix of optimism. NFL (14), B/R (15), and SI (12) hover at 12–15, suggesting a general mid-tier consensus. Meanwhile, FOX & PFT placed them at 15, and CBS & The Athletic at 13.

article-image

14. Jacksonville Jaguars

While their pass rush has been the number one weakness, the Jaguars can make things tougher for the Colts in the AFC South.

But overall, the Jags are a mixed bag. ES and NFL see them at 15 and 13, while ESPN and Yahoo are at 15 and 14, showing moderate respect. B/R and SI hover around the mid-teens as well, at 17 and 13, respectively, with The Athletic being the most optimistic at 10.

article-image

13. San Francisco 49ers

If we minus the injuries, especially when it comes to the quarterback room, the San Francisco 49ers are one of the toughest teams in the league. While their 30-19 loss to the Buccaneers stung, they’re expected to bounce back in Week 7 with Mac Jones (completed 27-of-39 for 347 yards) expected to suit up once again.

For now, ES ranks the 49ers 8, close to ESPN and Yahoo’s 11 and 16, highlighting some differing views. NFL (15), B/R (13), and SI (14) keep them in the 13–15 range, while FOX sees them a bit higher at 8, like ES. CBS has placed them at 15, PFT at 16, and The Athletic has slotted them at 12.

article-image

12. New England Patriots

Drake Maye was exceptional against the Saints. The QB completed 18-of-26 for 261 yards and three touchdowns, and walked out with the fourth win of the season. Considering their 25-19 win, ES has New England at 11, but ESPN and NFL see them slipping at 14 and 16.

Yahoo (14), FOX (16), and SI (15) hover in the teens as well, showing some doubts about consistency. But CBS (9), B/R (12), and The Athletic expect them to continue the rhythm from here.

article-image

11. Pittsburgh Steelers

The Pittsburgh Steelers, with Aaron Rodgers under center, are leading the AFC North. The team returned after a week 5 bye and torched the Browns 23-9 to extend their home win record to 22-1 against Cleveland.

ES has the Steelers at 14, slightly below the consensus, with ESPN (12), Yahoo (15), and NFL (10) in the 10–15 range. B/R (8), SI (10), and FOX (9) kept them among the top ten, but CBS and PFT rate them a little higher at 3 and 5, showing some outlier optimism.

article-image

10. Denver Broncos

The Broncos’ defense has been among the best this year. The team leads the league in sacks (30), defensive expected points added (31.43), and opposing QBR (43.5). In Week 6 against the Jets, the defense generated 9 sacks against Justin Fields.

This is why ES, Yahoo, and The Athletic are moderate, ranking them at 9, 5, and 7, while ESPN and NFL.com are a little more cautious at 10 and 11. B/R and SI echo the sentiment, showing fairly consistent middle-tier placement. Meanwhile, CBS and PFT rank them higher at 7,7, and 6, respectively.

article-image

9. Kansas City Chiefs

Week 5 was tough for the Chiefs, but that can’t be said about Week 6. Kansas City outplayed Detroit in every portion of the game, allowing zero turnovers and no penalties. ES slots Kansas City at 4, a nod to their top-tier talent, but ESPN and Yahoo are slightly more conservative at 9 and 8. NFL and B/R stay in single digits at 9.

But SI has some sort of trust in Patrick Mahomes and Co., as they ranked them at the top. However, CBS (11), FOX (10), and PFT (13) are a bit cautious, considering their three losses in the season. Uber sees a jump of 4.2, reflecting the wide range of analyst opinions this week.

article-image

8. Seattle Seahawks

With a gritty 20-12 road win over the Jaguars, the Seattle Seahawks have improved to 4-2. While Sam Darnold had a perfect day, completing 16-of-27 for 295 yards and two TDs, it was the defense that grabbed the spotlight.

Seattle generated 7 sacks and held the Jaguars to just 4.0 yards per play, a few reasons why the team’s been interesting heading into Week 7. ES ranks them 3, showing faith in their performance, but ESPN and Yahoo are less convinced at 8 and 9. NFL.com and SI still see them strong at 3, while CBS (7), PFT & The Athletic at 9 placed them in the top ten.

article-image

7. Philadelphia Eagles

The Eagles have seen a major drop in Uber rankings in the last couple of weeks, thanks to their back-to-back losses. The offense relied heavily on the rushing attack last year. But fast forward to now, and the offensive line is struggling, allowing Saquon Barkley less room to run.

ES has the Eagles at 10, a bit lower than ESPN’s 5 and Yahoo’s 6, suggesting some doubts about their week-to-week performance. NFL.com and SI hold them in the mid-6s, while CBS sees them at 12, showing a variance in belief. Meanwhile, PFT & The Athletic have ranked them at 8.

article-image

6. Buffalo Bills

The Bills have shown consistency through the first four weeks. But they’re now staring at a back-to-back losses heading into the Week 7 bye. And amidst many arising questions on both sides of the ball, Buffalo’s rankings are all over the place. ES slots them at 7, but ESPN is convinced they’re a top-3 team.

Yahoo and NFL.com are steady at 4, while CBS and PFT push them up into double digits at 10 and 11. Meanwhile, B/R and SI slotted them at 6, with FOX believing the Bills are a top-5 team. And The Athletic is too harsh on Josh Allen’s team, placing them at 16.

article-image

5. Los Angeles Rams

The Rams had a slow start against the Ravens, and Puka Nacua had an ankle injury scare. But Los Angeles kept its opponent far away from the end zone and secured a 17-3 win over Baltimore.

However, ES ranks the Rams at 6, with ESPN and Yahoo close behind at 7 and 11, showing respect for their competitiveness. NFL.com ranked them 7 and SI at 8. But B/R (4), FOX (3), and The Athletic (2) are convinced that the Rams as one of the top-5 teams.

article-image

4. Green Bay Packers

Thanks to special teams issues, the Packers were 2-1-1 entering the Week 6 matchup against the Bengals. But considering how bad Cincy is playing, the Packers secured a 27-18 win to improve their track record to 3-1-1. Currently, ES has Green Bay at 12, a bit lower than ESPN’s 6 and Yahoo’s 7, suggesting some skepticism about their consistency.

SI remains harsh on Green Bay, placing them at 9. But the rest of them are convinced that the Packers are still a playoff contender. The Athletic slotted them at 4, PFT at 6, FOX at 4, B/R at 3, and CBS at 2.

article-image

3. Detroit Lions

Week 1 was scary for the Lions. But for the next three weeks, the Lions showed that they still have the best offense in the league, even without Ben Johnson calling the shots. However, a 30-17 loss to the Chiefs has dropped them to a 4-2 record. While Sunday was a rough night for Detroit, the team is now expected to bounce back in Week 7 against the league’s best, the Buccaneers.

ES has Detroit at 5. But ESPN, Yahoo, NFL.com, and FOX have slotted them at 2, showing confidence despite an ugly loss to the Chiefs. Meanwhile, B/R and SI put them at 7 and 5, while PFT and The Athletic at 3 and 6, respectively. Overall, the Lions sit comfortably in the top tier.

article-image

2. Indianapolis Colts

The Colts are one of the two most successful teams in the league so far. They’ve won five out of six games and are expected to improve in Week 7 against the Chargers on the road. The rankings, meanwhile, tell the rest of the narrative. While NFL.com and FOX have been skeptical, that isn’t the case with the others. ES ranks them as the 2nd best, and B/R & PFT echo it.

ESPN, SI, and CBS signaled a respect for their consistency, as they slotted them at 4. Meanwhile, The Athletic has placed them at 3rd.

article-image

1. Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Baker Mayfield and Co. were without Mike Evans and Chris Godwin Jr., but the consistency persists. With a 30-19 win over the Niners, the Bucs are now 5-1 ahead of the Week 7.

This is why, except for SI (2), ES, ESPN, Yahoo, The Athletic, CBS, FOX, PFT, and NFL.com have ranked the Bucs as the best team in the league so far.
