The Carolina Panthers have a quarterback issue because of multiple injuries. Bryce Young was sidelined in Week 8 due to a high ankle sprain. In his absence, Andy Dalton stepped in, but led the Panthers to an ugly 40-9 loss to the Buffalo Bills. To make things worse, the backup QB also suffered a right thumb injury.

The signs were clear: The Panthers needed a quarterback on the roster, and they just got the reinforcement. Carolina just placed offensive lineman Brady Christensen on injured reserve and used his spot to sign the former Dallas Cowboys quarterback, Mike White, off the practice squad.
