The former Super Bowl champion came in support of Hunter and Leanna as he emphasized the importance of privacy and the personal growth of young athletes. “Everyone weighed in on how Travis Hunter & his fiancé should move,” Clark wrote on his official ‘X’ handle. “I have some advice for everyone not named Travis or Leanna. Let’s allow those young adults to grow.” 

Clearly, Clark is not happy with the way people are criticizing Leanna after a clip went viral during the Heisman Trophy ceremony. And enter Travis Kelce’s ex, Kayla Nicole, as a catalyst for the situation. Nicole tweeted a cryptic post on her official ‘X’ handle regarding Hunter and Leanna’s relationship.

And as expected, she was trolled for her remarks, which eventually led her to limit the replies. And truth be told, fans didn’t hold back and burst out on her post amidst all the Hunter and Leanna drama.

But deep down, let’s look at the bright side here as Ryan Clark shared his much-needed advice after all the backlashes that the couple had faced. He stated, “I hope they learn that they can keep their lives to themselves as much as they want to, because not everyone wants to see you succeed.”

Travis Hunter and the Heisman Controversy

No doubt, Hunter is having a year to remember. Earlier this year, the wide receiver went down on a knee and asked his high school sweetheart to be his wife. Fast forward to now, the 21-year-old has won the Heisman Trophy. However, things took a different turn for him and now he’s part of a never-ending loop of problems.

As Hunter was engaging with the fans after winning the trophy, the camera focused on Leanna as she was seen sitting still instead of cheering for her partner. Well, as expected, the fans started criticising her. However, she addressed her unusual behaviour and discarded all the negativity that was surrounding her after the Heisman ceremony. “I was super excited for him,” Leanna said. “But I wanted the moment to be about him and his family.”

Although it wasn’t the first instance that Leanna was scrutinized over her relationship with Travis Hunter. The fans have also imposed allegations on her for being a gold digger.
