Travis Hunter just ended Colorado’s 14-year drought when the Jacksonville Jaguars snagged the receiver/cornerback in the first round with the second overall pick. Now that the 2025 NFL Draft is officially in the books, all eyes are on how much Travis Hunter is set to make on his rookie deal.

According to early projections from Spotrac, Hunter could sign a four-year, $46.5 million contract with the Jaguars. That includes a $30.5 million signing bonus and an average annual salary of $11.6 million. For now, the figures are based on a projected rookie contract model, using comparisons from past drafts and current market adjustments.

Since Hunter will play two positions for the Jags, he could very well earn more. He just tied the highest draft pick in Colorado history, matching Bo Matthews, who went No. 2 overall to the Chargers in 1974. He also became just the fourth CU player to crack the top five. The others?
