When her youngest son joined Nate with the Steelers, Robyn stated, “When they played together when they were little, it was an off-island thing and I didn’t go with them. So, this is the first time I get to see them play together on the same team, which is wild to me.”

She even shared the image uploaded by the Pittsburgh team, celebrating the two brothers as a part of their locker room. It’s safe to say Mama Herbig is happy the brother joined the same team.

While both the brothers are pursuing their careers in football, Mama Robyn spends most of her time at home as she works for a P-20 company. The company is well known for its education initiatives across Hawaii. However, we can say that Pittsburgh is now their second home.

As a father of three talented sons, Bruce Herbig is a guiding force in Nick’s successful career. In his younger years, Herbig Sr. also played football and basketball at Lewis & Clark College. Since he’s so rooted in sports, dad Bruce has been a natural mentor—not just for the Steelers’ linebacker, but also for his older brother.

Bruce is a retired high-school counsellor and, along with Robyn, he temporarily lived in Wisconsin during Nick’s college football career with Wisconsin Badgers. And together, Bruce and Robyn Herbig have been the ultimate support system, helping Nick Herbig and Nate Herbig chasing their dreams towards a successful NFL career.
