Scary scenes unfolded in the Buffalo Bills vs New York Giants match. The Bills running back Damien Harris went to the ground following a tackle. Harris laid flat on the pitch, and imagining the worst, both teams called for immediate action.

An ambulance was on the pitch and took Harris to a local hospital as the crowd remained silent. It brought back Damar Hamlin’s memories from earlier this year when the Bills’ safety collapsed during a game against the Bengals.

The Giants’ linebacker Bobby Okereke hit Damien Harris in the second quarter. When attempted to make a play, Damien took a brutal hit over his right shoulder from the linebacker and immediately laid down flat. The crowd at the Highmark Stadium went dead silent, and both sides called for immediate action on the situation.

Soon, the Ambulance was on the field and the entire Bills team was present around the vehicle. Harris was stabilized first and then put into the ambulance as it left for a nearby hospital for further assistance. NFL insider Jordan Schultz has urged people to not repost the clip of his injury citing its scary nature. He captioned the post with “Praying for Damien Harris.”

Back when Damar Hamlin suffered a cardiac arrest

On January 2nd, 2023, the Bills’ safety Damar Hamlin collapsed into the ground after taking two steps, following a routine tackle against the Cincinnati Bengals. Soon it became clear that he was having a cardiac arrest. Hamlin was taken to the hospital within minutes. The game was indefinitely suspended and the whole crowd at the Paycor Stadium saw their soul almost leave their body in fear.

Hamlin would eventually come back to practice in April and has fully recovered since. Harris had to undergo the same terror as the Harris incident happened right in front of him. The Safety saw from the dugout while Harris was being taken care of. Everyone will be hoping that nothing serious happens with the RB, as the injury didn’t look scary at all on live TV.
