Tennessee Titans quarterback Ryan Tannehill sprained his ankle during the loss against the Ravens on match week six. Although not serious, the issue has forced Tannehill out of their upcoming encounter on 29th October. The quarterback needs enough recovery time.

Raiders’ Jimmy Garroppolo will not be featured in their match week seven game against the Bears after he went out during the Patriots with a reported back injury. It could be related to the issues Garroppolo has been dealing with his back in the past few months.

Bears’ Justin Fields suffered a dislocated thumb in his throwing hand in the training ahead of the game against the Raiders. That has effectively ruled him out of the following game, but the quarterback may still be featured in week 8 as the injury is not critical and doesn’t need surgery.

NFL Insider Ian Rapport has shared the updates on his X (formerly Twitter) account.

With some high-profile names already out for a few games, the trade window is going to be a lot more interesting before it closes on October 31. Especially when dealing with the quarterbacks, teams will take matters seriously.

One injury, however, remains the most significant in the season.

Aaron Rodgers injury update

The biggest injury report of the season so far covers JetsAaron Rodgers. The quarterback tore his Achilles tendon in the opening game against the Bills and had to undergo immediate surgery. Although it was initially thought that the season was over for the 39-year-old, Rodgers has lately walked out of the support. He even threw a few passes during the Jets’ warm-up ahead of the Eagles game.

Later, news broke out that A-Rod hopped on the microphone to connect with Robert Saleh, and his instructions ultimately saw the Jets take down the undefeated Eagles. With Rodgers recovering rapidly, the chances of him making a surprise comeback in the season are getting increasingly higher.
