NFL Analyst Believes Joe Burrow -Ja’Marr Chase Connection Can Uplift Bengals Next Season

The Cincinnati Bengals will feel very happy about their last two NFL Drafts. Last season, they selected Joe Burrow with the #1 overall pick in the draft. And this year, they had the #5 overall pick, with which they selected Ja’Marr Chase.
The two players are very familiar with each other, having played together at LSU. And one NFL analyst has tipped the duo to bring success to the Cincinnati Bengals.
NFL analyst Kim Jones spoke on Good Morning Football. When asked about which rookie has the best teacher this year, Jones gave an interesting answer. She believes that Ja’Marr Chase has a great teacher in Joe Burrow.

Chase and Burrow played together at LSU, where they formed an impressive connection and found great success. And now that they are back together in Cincinnati, they are looking to do the same in the NFL.

“I went (with) Joe Burrow and Ja’Marr Chase. Now they were teammates at LSU. Joe has been in the league, we didn’t get to see a full season obviously because of the ACL. But I can’t wait to see these two back together again.”

Jones added that Ja’Marr Chase averaged fantastic numbers during his time as a wide receiver at LSU when Burrow was the quarterback. So there is evidence of their connection, and how well the two can play together on a team.
The hope for the Cincinnati Bengals is that Chase and Burrow can be the light that guides them out of the Top-10 of the draft each year and into the Playoffs. But they have a lot of work ahead of them.

“Chase averaged, I believe, 21.2 yards per catch with Joe Burrow throwing him the ball. They are electric. I’m excited for Zac Taylor and Cincinnati.
