While another Alabama reunion will take place in Miami as the Dolphins drafted wide receiver Jaylen Waddle to reunite with QB Tua Tagovailoa.
With a lot to look forward to from all 3 reunions, NFL draft analyst Mel Kiper Jr. weighed in on which reunion he thinks will have the best results in 2021.
2021 NFL Draft reunion won by the Miami Dolphins
During a segment of NFL Live, Kiper was asked about which duo he backs to have more success in 2021. And the answer to him seemed rather straightforward.
“I’m going to go with Tua and Jaylen Waddle. Waddle to me is so competitive and I think the reason I would give him an edge is he’s gonna provide fuel position for Tua,” said Kiper.

“His punt return skills are incredible. Also his ability to make those long-distance touchdown receptions. Those coast to coast receptions is remarkable,” he further added.
Talking about Waddle’s drive to succeed, Kiper said that big things can be expected from the wideout.
“Before he got hurt, he was lighting it up and then he comes back limping and he still catches three passes. So this kid is ultra-competitive.”

Kiper said that he also expects big things from Tua in his second year in the league as he continues to recover from a hip injury he sustained in college.
“For Tua, expect the arm strength to be better this year than it was last year given that he’s a couple of years removed from that hip surgery,” he said.
