Lando Norris Celebrates NFL Icon Tom Brady’s Surprise Return for 23rd Season

McLaren driver Lando Norris has expressed his joy after NFL legend Tom Brady announced his surprise comeback to the sport. The 44-year old quarterback will return for one more season to play for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Norris took to Instagram to express his delight at the surprise news of Brady. The 22-year-old shared a photo of Brady’s wife and kids. Earlier, Brady posted on Twitter: “These past two months I’ve realized my place is still on the field and not in the stands. That time will come. But it’s not now. I love my teammates, and I love my supportive family.

Brady is one of the most successful quarterbacks in NFL history. He has won seven Super Bowl titles with the New England Patriots and Tampa Bay Buccaneers. After announcing his retirement six weeks ago, he sent fans into a frenzy after 22 seasons in the league.

Norris, who is into his third season in Formula 1 begins his season in Bahrain this week. He will look to continue his impressive form from 2021, including a disappointing miss at a first race win.

The American has won five Super Bowl MVPs, with three regular-season MVP awards, and gotten 15 Pro Bowl selections. With a resume like no other, Norris will look to seek inspiration from a glittering career in sport. However, the youngster faces an important season in 2022, partnering with the experienced Daniel Ricciardo.

The pair were impressive in the early season, with Norris earning 4 podium positions in 2021. With Ricciardo winning in Monza, he outgunned the youngster who is still searching for a first win. Norris will look to end the dry spell in the new MCL36.

Norris has signed a long-term contract with McLaren, hoping he brings multiple successes to the team. He will face stiff competition from Ferrari, who leaped past them into P3 last season.
