“No one has ever raged on a sideline anymore than this man has,” were the words Skip Bayless had to spit to calm ‘Undisputed’ co-host Keyshan Johnson down from his advocacy for Travis Kelce’s sideline rage against head coach Andy Reid when both of the other co-hosts were strongly condemning the action. While the heat of the Super Bowl game might have gotten the best of him, this has not been the first time Travis Kelce has shoved and screamed at someone on the sidelines. This time, it was his head coach who became a victim of Kelce’s frustration and yelling. And like the other times, he has been encountered with criticism.

This time, it was Michael Irvin who had to assert his opinion about the Chiefs’ tight end to not normalize this behavior from a world-famous persona like Kelce. While Keyshawn Johnson was just trying to put his point about the pressure of getting the best of Kelce, Irvin could not stop himself from setting the facts straight. “Travis Kelce has to check himself. He has some heat in him,” Irvin asserted.

The story started when Coach Andy Reid called the tight end back after the end of 2nd quarter because of the poor performance by the Chiefs as they had just mustered 3 points by then, as compared to the impossible-to-match 10 points of the 49ers. After the criticism flooded the internet, Travis Kelce had a response ready to calm the storm down, as he had nothing but respect for his head coach. “I got the greatest coach this game has ever seen, he is unbelievable. He has helped me a lot with that, with channeling that emotion, channeling that passion, and I owe my entire career to that guy. Being able to kind of control how emotional I get. I just love him,” confessed Kelce.

On the other hand, head coach Andy Reid confirmed the two did not share any hard feelings over the issue per ABC. “He caught me off balance. I wasn’t watching. He was really coming over and saying, ‘Just put me in, I’ll score. I’ll score. So, that’s really what it was. I love that,” admitted Ried. Although. this was twice in the same week that Kelce lost his cool on the sidelines.
