Against the backdrop of majestic fairways, Brady is poised to showcase his skills in a different arena at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am Golf Event.

Joined by a constellation of sports luminaries, including Larry Fitzgerald, and Aaron Rodgers among others, the NFL legend is set to bring his competitive spirit to the golf course of the Pebble Beach Pro-Am tournament. On top of this, the top-tier golfing event also comprises a substantial $20 million purse transforming it into the tour’s marquee events.

Generous payout structure of the golf event in 2024

Even though Brady, being a regular playing sports serves as a prime reason why fans are exploring the 2024 AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am Golf Event, the real impetus lies within the prize money. As per the reports, players will vie for their share of a $20 million prize pool. However, the winning amount has been segregated among 80 different rank holders. In doing so, as per the reports, the winner will be securing a staggering $3.6 million windfall.

The golf tournament ensures to differ from other tournaments as their adoption of a no-cut, limited-field format. On getting a closer look, going into the core of the event, it reveals the runner-up prize that amounts to a substantial $2.18 million. In the case of claiming third place, a seven-figure sum of $1.38 million awaits the player. 

Surprisingly, being open to giving a chance to as many as 80 candidates holding positions with a prize attached to it, the ground is assumed to be difficult for Brady. However, for the former quarterback with seven championships under his belt, the tournament scheduled between February 1 to 4 will prove to be an extension of his prowess.

Victory and riches for 2023 season

Even though Brady is going to participate this year, last year too, the event got momentum as renowned legends like Justin Rose, Denny McCarthy, and Brendon Todd, among others participated. Although the participation was extravagant regarding the prize money, differences came to the forefront. The total purse of the event amounted to $9 million, much less than compared to this year’s amount. However, 2023 witnessed a substantial rise from $8.7 million, which was in 2022.

As the professionals competed across three picturesque courses comprising the Pebble Beach, Spyglass Hill, and Monterey Peninsula, the tournament offered prize money of $1.62 million. Gradually, the ranks below the winner offered $9.81 million for the second position, and $6.21 million for the third position, and it continued. To note, it was Justin Rose who emerged as the triumphant golfer followed by Brendon Todd and Brandon Wu. Similar to the prize money, the number of positions was also not the same. In 2023, the event handed out prizes to 75 participants instead of 80.
